The room and hotel were very clean. Location is great for restaurants and bars, most things are within walking distance. The breakfast was perfect size, fresh and reasonably priced.

A truly surprising and disappointing experience.

It's hard not to appreciate good service and professionalism in the hospitality industry once you've experienced the worst:
The manager at the Courtyard Marriott was petulant and clearly overworked when he refused to answer questions about my reservation and then, offended, he punished me by cancelling my reservations without telling me the day before my arrival.
A truly surprising and disappointing experience.

During the phone conversation, the language used toward our employee was inappropriate and disrespectful. As a result, we made the decision to cancel your reservation (without fees) in accordance with our commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for both our guests and our staff.
We understand this decision was frustrating, but it was not made lightly. We wish you all the best in your future travels.

While this hotel was lovely and clean, the area is not safe if you are single. I did not feel safe once it was getting dark.

VERY CENTRAL

Right in the center, next to the historic market, a few steps from the UNESCO heritage locks and government buildings.
Clean hotel, spacious and bright room.
On-site parking available for a fee of around €24/25 per day.
Excellent choice for walking around the whole city without worries.
