We had an awesome stay at Waterways, A Boutique Hotel. The view from our main floor room was fantastic and made our visit even more enjoyable.If you have any mobility or accessibility concerns, I highly recommend requesting a main floor room. It made getting around very easy and convenient.The location is excellent, with great restaurants within walking distance and easy access to the ferry terminal. Everything we needed was close by, making our stay relaxing and stress-free.Thank you to the hotel staff for their friendly service and hospitality. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return in the future.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The view from the room was stunning. The most beautiful sunsets every night. I will be back again for sure!

Had to make an unexpected stay in Powell River. It’s a small town so choices are limited. Booked Waterways last minute. It appears to be an older property that was refurbished into a “boutique” hotel. By all appearances, it fits into a more mainstream 3 star hotel as I didn’t find anything special about it. There were families with small screaming kids, which I don’t expect at all “boutique” hotel. Probably with limited hotel choices in town, families book where they can. Friendly greeting at the front desk and they required a $200 deposit on my cc. I found the hallway on the 2nd floor narrow and the 2 queen room was tight for space around the bed. With upgrades I would have expected newer windows but they just had single pane glass. However, the room was clean and the shower with actual large bottles of body wash & shampoo was nice. Rain shower head and hand held head as well. Nice location very close to the ferry dock and downtown restaurant area. Limited parking so you have to park on the street if you can’t get a spot. Probably wouldn’t stay here if I’m ever in town again.

Amazing location. Highly recommend.
Amazing location. Walk to the beach and great local restaurants. Very clean and showers were hot and amazing. Gentleman at the desk was professional and very helpful. Area at night felt totally safe. Rooms very clean and looked new.

From check in to check out everything was fantastic. Great value for the price. The person working reception at check in was outstanding, top notch.
