Top-notch accommodation but neighborhood to avoid

Beautiful apartment, functional, modern, pleasant, 25 minutes on foot from Old Quebec.
Not very easy to get to the city center by bus.
But a neighborhood where we did not feel completely safe (many people doing drugs in the middle of the street and in the middle of the day)

Leaky faucet was annoying and the washer wasn’t working properly. Thanks to YouTube for advice on how to reprogram it.
Where should I send the bill???
I still made the best of what I had and will definitely give it another chance!

The room was comfortable, but missing a few amenities. Not enough hangers for blouses (there was one!) and two of the pants hangers were broken. Shower is roomy, but there is no shelf or rack to place shampoo, soap, etc. I had a half-basement room and the hallway to get to the room was painted a very dark color. Not a good idea for an area that gets minimal light. It was a little creepy! The area around the lofts is somewhat sketchy. Several unhoused people and others who were asking for money. Having a full-size washer and dryer was definitely a plus.

Clean, very easy check-in, nice amenities. Lots of construction outside however, makes the front rooms a bit less pleasant. Not much the host can do about that!

Nice downtown location. The parking garage is close by to park. The room is great modern and has all of the amenities you’d need to be a home away from home.
