Never met the staff. Room was clean and so was the bathroom. Only negative was the loud A/C. Thank goodness we were able to turn it off and use the quiet ceiling fan. With a bit of window open, it was comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Good location.

The room is in an older house. Its not a large room but was perfect for us. Room and bathroom were clean. Great price for the location. Can walk to the Harbour and downtown in a couple minutes. There is a common living room and kitchen.

Pretty house, small room.

Room No. 4 is very cramped and small. The furnishings are a bit older, but everything is clean. A slight odor was in the air, but it was not very bothersome - with the window open, it was not even noticeable anymore.
The lounge downstairs is practical, where you can make tea, coffee, and toast you brought yourself. There is also a refrigerator. There is also a sofa area in the front where you can sit comfortably if your room is too small.
There is no staff on-site; contact is via email and phone. Unfortunately, the hot water heater broke on our last day, so we could not take a shower. Since we did not have a Canadian SIM card, we could not quickly contact the owners. After our complaint, they fairly gave us a refund, and the damage was likely repaired that same day.
The location is super in a very pretty street with historic houses, to which the guest house also belongs (jellybean row). From here, you can also easily walk to all the sights due to the central location.

Perfect for what we needed, small room and bathroom. Great location, walkable to restaurants/pubs. Would recommend.

The location was really convenient to downtown St. John's.
Easy check-in and check-out.
