We have stayed here on a few occasions and the rooms are nice and cozy. The waterfront is beautiful. The restaurant has good food. We will stay here again for sure. The staff and owners are nice to deal with.

We called to ask for a late check in; as we were on a road trip across Canada.
They told me they that they didn’t have my reservation. I even gave them my reservation number and they still said they didn’t have it. The man was very rude to us.
We then booked a new place, stayed there.
And come to my knowledge, Carolyn beach inn still charged my credit card!
Funny since they didn’t have my reservation!!!
Do not recommend.

Not as expected. Avoid avoid avoid.

Had stayed here several times before. When doing our booking on our travel day were misled about the restaurant being open so had to go downtown Thessalon to get mediocre pub food. Internet didn’t work well at all. We were “upgraded” to a better room, but it didn’t have queen beds as promised. And we had to pay extra. Felt the owner was dishonest and dismissive. Won’t stay here again.

Room was clean but very old. Bed was terrible to sleep on. Bathroom updated but sink not properly attached and wobbled if leaned on it. I know this was not terribly expensive but I choose this because I had stayed here in the early 1980’s and it was really nice. Not impressed this time. Will not be back

The staff is rude. The room smells like pet urine. The room is dated and not well kept. Wi-Fi is terrible. Don't be fooled by the beautiful picture of the lake. Don't stay here if you have other alternative.
