Comfortable budget stay

Although I only met the host once, she was quite friendly and welcoming. There is a no-shoes policy inside the house, with a shoe rack and indoor shoes provided for guests. My room was larger than I expected, which came in handy when I needed to hang up all of my clothes after going to the laundromat. There are clear labels in the kitchen on what is and isn't for guest use. The bathroom was on the smaller side but clean and came with a handy hair dryer. Location was brilliant as it was right next to the tram and bus, even though it wasn't in the main CBD. I appreciated that the front door has a keypad lock, whereas your individual room has a physical key; saved me from getting confused which key is for which door. Stairs were extremely squeaky and uneven in some places, though I understand this is due to the age of the house. Getting up to use the kitchen during the night felt awkward as I worried about waking the entire household. You do hear lots of noises from outside at night, so I'd suggest bringing ear plugs. Overall a comfortable and pleasant stay!

Expensive to sleep on a station platform

House located in the Chinese district, quite far from the city center but on a very busy and noisy road (tram, car, motorbike).
Besides, our room was on the road side and it was impossible to sleep at night given the noise, because the window was not closed, the air conditioning pipe was coming out. (photo attached)
Also be careful, there are many rules to follow (you receive them by email a few days before your arrival, no physical contact). For example, children under 12 years old are refused, as are pets or service animals, etc.
Bedding level: the bed is too small, in fact our feet are overgrown and the mattress is of poor quality.
Tiny bathroom with mold.
The tissue box is a toilet paper roll (photo attached)
Expensive establishment for what it offers. We stayed one night a few days before in another establishment which was better located, more comfortable for less money.
We will not recommend this establishment
