Spectacular View of Lake Ontario
Westin Harbour Castle has the wonder view of Lake Ontario. The hotel is upscale, and the team members are very friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was very comfortable and very clean, and with a spectacular lake view which allows to relax and enjoy this entire trip. There is a beautiful walk path that follows the lake. We had breakfast buffet at Mizzen restaurant. There were plenty choices of fruits and made to order omelet selections. We definitely highly recommend this hotel.

Not impressed for the amount we paid.
Wasn’t impressed for the cost. We ended up in the north tower that no one in the hotel cares about. We ordered in room service the first night and put our tray outside by 7 pm. The following morning we stepped over it at 8 am. We told the concierge and also mentioned that there were broken bulbs from a light in our hall. No one cleaned it up the 2 days we were there. The view from the room was nice. But the room itself was no different than a Comfort Inn. Not worth the $585 a night we paid as the bathroom was exactly the same with the old tiles and small tub. At night there are party boats on the water playing loud music till very early morning. We were only on 10th floor so could hear it no problem. The outside of the windows were really dirty so seeing the boats while sitting was difficult. The food we had there was good. We also were put in a room right near the elevators which was weird because other rooms were empty. So not impressed, wouldn’t stay here again.

Hotel needs upgrade
I booked this hotel based on raving reviews. But my experience was different. The staff service was good. However the property itself is very dated. The room and bathroom is dated. The Staybridge suites that cost $200 a night I stayed previously was more upgraded than this property. The bathroom has black dark countertop, the rooms carpet is brown, and the double bed was too small for 2 adults to sleep in. The pool is big and they provided pool toys. The game room was a hit for the kids. However, walking towards the game room, the corridor is dark and has a musky smell. Just general feeling of the hotel is dark and old. I would really suggest a refresh renovation for the hotel and I would personally pay to stay somewhere else for the price you pay

the beds.....
I stayed at the Westin while working at an event at the Metro Toronto Convention Center. I found the hotel to be clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near numerous attractions and restaurants in the downtown area. The beds were as comfortable as I've come to expect from Westin hotels, and the indoor pool and hot tub were a refreshing amenity after long workdays.

Pleasant stay
We had a wonderful time everything was nice, check-in fast very good and pleasant, very good situation. We have been to the Chartroom restaurant many times, Kathy who served us was so wonderful, and also Danilo was very kind, we thank both of them so much.
