Unexpected business stay

While hotel needs some updating, the reception and hospitality is perfect. Close to the airport and convenient.

Run down work camp

This is worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It is a work camp that has seen better days. I had issues with my tv working and a toilet that overflowed and they would do nothing to adjust my rate or do anything to compensate me for the issues I experienced while staying here. Sorry, not sorry. I will never be back and would recommend people to stay elsewhere.

Work Camp

The hotel is very much geared towards contractors and not towards those travelling for leisure. The bathtub was stained and cracked, we ended up having to use the sink to bathe our infant. Staff were friendly.

Rude attendant and incorrect information

On November 17, I called the Wabush hotel the day I was travelling to Labrador City area to ask if they required a credit card to stay the night there. I was advised that a credit card was required to book a room in advance, but I would not need a credit if I came in and needed to rent a room. I was also advised that I could use a debit card to pay.
Seven hours later I arrived at the hotel and tried to get a room. The attendant there asked me for a credit card, and I told her that I had called the hotel earlier and asked if I needed a credit card to get a room and I was advised that I did not need a credit card to get a room. The attendant told me that whoever said I didn’t need a credit card did not know what she was talking about. So there I was, 7 hours away from home driving through snow and rain with nowhere to stay upon arrival.

Hockey trip

The hotel is old and could use some upgrading. During our stay there was an issue with hot water and none available in the mornings to have a hot or even warm shower. Maybe a system upgrade for the hot water would help. Friendly staff.
