Great Experience

This was a great place to stay! We were able to BBQ, bring our pup, the room was quaint, and we were even able to cast our phones to the TV in our room.
Zoran went above and beyond by providing us with everything we needed. Thanks again!
We will definitely be staying here again when passing through Wawa.

Good and Bad Experiences

Stayed here twice in the span of 2 wks as we passed through to and from AB. Reserved gr flr rooms as we have a disabled child. 1st time was fine, no issues. 2nd time reception "got busy and accidentally gave away our gr flr room". Won't stay again.

Great for the price and good location.

Almost passed this by because of the rating. We had been camping when bears were spotted in our camp ground so we decided to hit a hotel for the night. Not really afraid of the bears but my small dog likes a late walk and he knows no fear. We saw this one which was pretty close to town and looked decent. It was better than decent. Good price, nice clean sheets, great shower and comfortable bed. Hotel definitely deserves a better rating here.

Absolutely restful and comfortable.

We had driven over 12 hrs, looking for a late night place to stay. The front desk staff was so helpful and went out of his way to make us comfortable and make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms (2) were newly renovated and very clean and comfortable. Great experience and would highly recommend.

I'll stop here again

I stopped in Wawa for late lunch then decided to stay in the area overnight. After looking at TripAdvisor, I found this place. I was not far away and drove over. The sign near the road looks very dated however the building looks new. When I went inside I had to ring a bell for service. The innkeeper was at the desk in 1 minute. We talked, negotiated, I got a good deal - $99 for one night. Everything in the motel and room looked quite new or newly renovated. The room was comfortable and had a refrigerator and microwave. The Queen bed was comfortable. The private washroom and bathtub/shower were very clean.
I'll plan my next trip through the area so as to stop here again.
