Astana Wyndham Garden

Nice hotel, not far from city center and also easily accessible from the airport. Prices are reasonable. Clean, good speed wireless internet. Restaurant offers tasty food. Breakfast selection is very rich. Spa, sauna, car park area…
Thanks.

Great hotel in Astana

I stayed here for a conference and found the experience excellent. The location is nice, as it's quite close to the airport and across the street from the new LRT station. It's also within walking distance to the Nursultan Mosque. Rooms were clean and comfortable and had all the amenities. Service was decent overall, although the staff felt a bit robotic when you communicated with them in English. Great breakfast spread.

Forced to pay double!

I booked my 3-day stay through Agoda. When I arrived, the front desk said they didn't have the booking, despite my showing and then e-mailing the hotel the Agoda confirmation. Over the course of my stay, Agoda wrote me that the hotel had confirmed my check-in, but the hotel would not do the same with me, and required me to double pay for the room. I'm still waiting on a refund from Agoda or the hotel.
Other than that, a solid mid-range hotel, but not worth paying double for.
