High quality hotel with friendly staff on north side of Pavlodar.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights. Arriving at PWQ at 8:30 AM, we taxied (2000 Kzt = ~$5.50) 18 km northwest to this relativley new hotel. The nice receptionist used her phone translator to check us in and answer questions, then guided us up 2 flights of marble stairs to our beautiful center room.
It had a king bed with 2 nightstands, desk with chair with wall TV(many channels/movies but little in English), table with chair, refer, hot pot, open WIFI, huge closet, and fully outfitted bathroom. We determined our breakfast time, served at their bar, and it was delicious and filling.
Our spacious room had a view of the cafe along the main road(~50 meters away), we did hear some traffic noise and clankity clank of the each 20 minute tram. Just up the road ~ 400 meters we found the new 'Vash Magazin' supermarket and a bit farther, is the tram/bus stop.
Although away from the city center, this relatively new hotel is top quality in furnishing, service, and food for 16000 Kzt = ~$45/night.

Brilliant!

Fantastic from start to finish. Don't bother with any other hotel! Kazakhstan for accommodation can be very hit and miss but this is a top spot for anyone. This would suit a business traveler, families or singles. They are very friendly and have English speakers onsite which is great for foreigners. They are falling over themselves to please as this is a brand new spot and well maintained. The value is superb and they responded to every email before and attempted to give us as much help as possible with local information where required. They have a very popular onsite restaurant out the back and a smaller cafe-bar at the entrance. They also have a bar and breakfast spot inside the main hotel so the choice is great. Trams are nearby so the town can be accessed easily or they can arrange reasonably priced taxis if preferred. Overall one of the BEST mid-range hotels I have been in across the world!

Divine Dvin

We spent a couple of nights at the Dvin Hotel in Pavlodar recently and it was fabulous. The staff are there to make sure you feel at home, rooms are clean, fresh and quiet which was a necessity after a long drive. It’s outside the city centre which is fine as you get the good clean air and some peace and quiet as well. Public transit stops are nearby too or if you need a taxi to get into downtown it’s not far or expensive. They have a great restaurant on site as well that we dined at and loved (see my review for that too), overall probably the best nights we have had so far on our drive around the ‘stans, we highly recommend Dvin Hotel if you are in Pavlodar and we would certainly return again.

Wonderful Experience

The people here were very friendly and helpful. Most of the staff speak English or will arrange someone who can. The price was good and everything is very new. It was cozy in the winter and quiet to sleep there.

Excellent service - comfortable modern hotel

This hotel has only been open a short while, but they know exactly how to treat a customer and make them feel comfortable and at home. The facilities are modern, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and represent excellent value for money.
The service, however is what makes a good hotel an excellent hotel. I am happy to report that the service at the Dvin Hotel is fantastic. From perfect email support before our arrival to to a friendly welcome upon our arrival, Mr Gyurjyan and his staff couldn't have been more helpful. Together they made our stay in Pavlodar extremely enjoyable and I will definitely stay at this hotel again when I am next in Pavlodar.
