Conference facilities n Buffet

The place provides good Conference services, great atmosphere for productive discussions, best location in Lamu and The food is great. Would highly suggest this place for Seminars n workshops. The ocean just keeps a fresh mind out of a long busy day.

Terribile!!!

We have tray today to have a dinner
After 2 hours of waiting a terrific food arrive:
The Calamari old, hard and cold, rice was a cold meals
We have left all food on dishes
3200 KEF pay for noting!!
Also the Beverage was served cold!!
To avoid avoid avoid!!!

Wildly overpriced tourist trap, charging DOUBLE what newer places with pools charge on the same street. stay at Petley’s instead— and book on arrival, not in advance.

Stay AWAY from this place, you will be disappointed.

Terrible hotel. Do not stay. I originally made this reservation with the intent on staying two nights. Upon arriving to the hotel, I began the checkin process. As he was describing the room, he said it had a fan and good air flow. I paused and asked him if it had air conditioning, per the room details on hotels.com. He paused for a moment and said “no air conditioning” I then mentioned the room reservation said air conditioning, and he said “Ok” and proceeded to check us in. Prior to him finishing, I asked if I could view the room as it seemed a bit skeptical given his original response. He took us to a room that was not as described in the listing.
The air conditioner was not working. It was blowing room temperature air. Also, the room was currently occupied as there was a bag, toiletries, sandals, and a backpack in the room. He said the air conditioner would get colder, yet we stood there for 5 minutes and it was the same temperature. It was clear this was not working, as there was a flashing light indicator on the air conditioner that was indicating there was a problem. I asked if there was another room and he said no. Additionally, the room had a musty smell, like smoke or another substance. On the listing smoke free, and given allergies it was not an option. The best part is that they refused to refund the credit card when we did not stay. One easy dispute to my credit card took care of that problem. Stay FAR away from this hotel.

Great place and location

Went on an amazing trip with friends to Lamu and stayed at this place. At the seafront, great views from the balcony and I still miss the rooftop and an early morning swim in the sea.
Got nice and clean rooms, lovely Swahili beds, with air condition and t.v. At affordable price around ksh. 3000 a night, Looked refurbished. (Not all)
They have breakfast and a restaurant, Wi-Fi, friendly staffs as we asked them about trips and other experiences in lamu and were very helpful. Restaurant closes early but it's like that everywhere else in Lamu.
Safe area.
Good hospitality.
