A dream realized thanks to Nyumba Ya Afrika

Nyumba Ya Afrika is a small wedding favor on one of the most beautiful beaches of Watamu. Andrea and his wife Hindra are two wonderful people who will do anything to make you feel at home and super pampered. Chef Johnson will prepare delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners, with fish caught 200 metres away. Swimming pool and well-kept garden. The rooms are large and clean. The location is also beautiful. In a few steps you will be facing the ocean and even here you will meet wonderful people like Omar, Flora, Marie, Kibo and others who will follow you throughout. The oceanfront sunbed for only 2 euros per day, fresh coke for 1 euro, fresh or dried coconut for 1 euro..... very different from Italian prices. We booked directly by contacting Andrea on WhatsApp +254797191906. We were guests at this wonderful property 15 days and enjoyed every single thing. Thank you very much for everything... a hug... and we will definitely see you very soon!

As a guest as with friends

A wonderful place with a personal atmosphere – here you feel like you are among friends! Host Andreas takes care of his guests with a lot of heart.
The food? Just fantastic! Fish can't get any fresher, just 100 meters from the sea. Every bite is a treat.
Perfect location, relaxed atmosphere, unbeatable hospitality – 100 points! We will come back!

How to feel at home

Our holiday in Kenya was fantastic and our stay in Nyumba ya Afrika definitely contributed to this.
Andrea is a golden person, which as can be seen from the name of the structure (House in Africa) has managed to create a place where you can feel at home.
The icing on the cake is his cuisine that together with Chef Gilbert allowed us to taste excellent dishes, both local and Italian.
If one day we return to Watamu we will have no doubt where to stay.

Carbonara and Fried Goat... perfect wedding!!

We had lunch with friends who already knew the place.
The excellent grilled fish with various accompaniments were delicious. The taste of a carbonara convinced us to return after a few days.

Nyumba = Casa

"Nyumba" means home and that's exactly what you get here. Beautiful property surrounded by greenery and a 1-minute walk from the beach. Andrea and all his staff made us feel at home throughout our stay. Special mention to Chef Johnson, stellar levels! :)
Clean structure, functional spaces. Swimming pool and relaxation area for every need. To return and return!
