A WORLD CLASS TEAM & A PRICELESS EXPERIENCE

First I want to say the team is world class, and treated me with exceptional client care. I want to shout out Douphine, Larissa, and Helen who handled my booking. They treated me with politeness and extreme courtesy. Douphine at the client office has world class client care and service. I can never forget who she treated me. Very proactive with deep knowledge of the area. She recommended things that could make my stay memorable and I have taken time to shout Douphine out because I learnt so much from Her.
I also want to shout out James, Collins, Ali, and the 2 other Ladies who served me at the restaurant. The entire team there is proactive and courtesy and treated me with extreme care and courtesy and I feel bad I cannot recall all their names.
The view at Lala Galu at night is priceless, I witnessed the full moon, views are amazing any time of the day. I will gate keep this to myself and everyone who has been there. If You do not go to Lala Galu, You have missed out of a moment in life I do not where You will get it.
I AM EXTREMELY CONFIDENT THIS IS A PLACE YOU MISS AT YOUR OWN PERIL.

Great for unwinding

I checked into Lala Galu on Saturday for a night just to have a different experience from what i had previously booked into. Overall we had a great experience. Food, service, rooms, environment 9.5/10 ... My only negative is the check in took way too long (it was going to 3pm) and very strict check-out 10:00 am .. Please be a bit considerate on both. Breakfast was fresh but the options are very limited, the fact that i have to add more money to get items like sausages are a bit off putting. The portions are too little (one potato :D Jeez) ..Please consider adding portion size too.
I will be back. Lovely place, very peaceful environment.

Unexpected Gem

Awesome concept. Comfortable converted shipping containers fully air-conned. 1 step from Diani Beach is the pool deck/restaurant. Wonderful food, stunning staf

Disappointed

It’s a small, relatively clean hotel, but that’s about the only positive thing I can say. The rooms are small, with not much privacy, and for the first time in my 25 years of traveling, I stayed in a hotel with no wardrobe or shelves to put clothes. The bathroom needs serious renovation and repair.
The breakfast and food are okay, nothing extraordinary though, but be prepared to constantly fight flies trying to land on your food. For me, that alone is unacceptable; even if they served the best food, I still wouldn’t give this place a passing score. I should also mention the worn-out black utensils, which often looked dirty.
There is a swimming pool, but it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months.
And if all of that isn’t enough, their checkout time is 10 a.m.
At best this is a three start hotel, and I won't recommend it.

The room was very cosy and I loved the decor. The resort also had a good vibe and great facilities to use. I didn't like the fact that there was no tv in the room and also the main reason why I booked this was due to the bikes that were advertised in the images. I was very disappointed that these were no longer being offered to guests. I think maybe the images with the bikes should be removed as this is false advertisment.
