Convenient, friendly and good value

This place is in a very convenient location for UN meetings. It's only a couple of minutes from Village Market Mall, and within walking distance of the UN (we didn't have any issue with safety but it is probably advisable to walk in groups, especially at night). It doesn't do evening meals but there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, as well as delivery options. It's excellent value for money and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast is good. Some of the rooms are small but still adequate. Mosquito nets would be welcome, though, but spray for the room is available

Spacious Guest House, Very Good Breakfasts

Don't let the view of the gate from the road deter you. This is an excellent guest house with spacious suites. We spent 4 nights in the Mombasa Room on the ground floor. To save energy the hot water is normally only available for showers or baths in the morning and evening, but this was adequate for us. Although they are willing to prepare lunch or dinner with advance reservations, there is a modern Mall a few minutes walk away with many food options; we recommend that approach. The grounds are well kept and lovely, although it was too cool for the swimming pool to tempt us. The is a fridge in each room (I think) and a microwave in the breakfast room available to guests. The manager, Jack, and the attendant, Benson, were both very kind and helpful. We think this Guest House is a much better choice than a hotel.

A home away from home

Dream Place is a very cozy, homely, quiet and comfortable place. Their quick responses/feedback to email reservation request was excellent. The proximity to UN offices, village market and other facilities makes it an ideal place to stay at. They have modest breakfast choice and free tea/coffee every evening for their guests. I particularly appreciated the hospitality Jack (front desk officer) provided while I stayed there especially when I struggled with a very bad flu to make my stay as smooth as possible. He is knowledgeable and has a good awareness of cultures that made me feel quite welcomed. I also appreciated Linda's ( the new manager) enthusiasm to make the place better and guests happy. I do hope with their plans to revise their rates with some upcoming upgrades, they also expand choices including meals and ensure that they offer accommodation with a good value for money.

STAYCATION

We had a lovely time at dream place, proximity to Village market, and gigiri lounge for drinks at the bar and food. The guy there called Mwendwa was exceptionally good at his job, even prepared us breakfast one morning when the lady was not around .

My stay at DreamPlace Bed and Breakfast

Dreamplace is exsatly as it's Name. The hotel or rather home away from home is the best hotel I have been to in Nairobi. The Hotel is well maintained, very well furnished, the staff are very professional, kind and welcoming, there is reception at all time and even night time. It is possible to order for meals, fresh well made food on a reasonable price. The Hotel has Maximum security . The only problem we hard is when it come to the payments!!!! The transactions where not going though it took hours!!! Rather than that everything was good.
