Fantastic experience

Jabulani hôtel is a fantastic place ! Well situated in Nairobi ! Suzy ! will help you a lot . I do recommend 100 p cent for all backpackers who need to be helped in a place they don t know sometimes the rules . A big thank for all helpful persons who loves there !

Very Comfortable and Fun Experience

This was a very reasonably priced, comfortable accommodation and a totally fun vibe. It was clean, the breakfast was good, there was laundry service for a fee, and hanging out with Susan was fun. She gave everyone suggestions for places to eat, safaris, how to get places and how to plan our trips. It's very well set up. People had some privacy in their rooms (even the shared rooms) because a lot of people were out during the day on day trips. People from various parts of the world visiting Kenya talked in the common room about their planned trips and some of them would even get together to go out to night clubs after dinner. What a fun vibe. I actually changed my itinerary around twice after talking with people in the common room. Their experiences were so valuable to me since I had never been to Kenya before and they were telling me about some of the places they had already visited in Kenya. I recommend this as a first stop for every solo traveller.

Best hostel experience in sub-Saharan Africa

Every morning a nice filling breakfast with 2 types of fruit, brown bread toast or chapati or samosa, egg or sausage, coffee. Almost different every day (included in the price if you are a genius).
Comfortable bunk wider than average with curtain and power outlet, quiet at the rear of the building. Several common area spaces both inside and outside (rear and front).
At a central location in Westlands (Nairobi) with Sarit Mall closeby, Carrefour and Naivas supermarkets, major banks, market with cheap local food stalls, but more sophisticated restaurants in the vicinity as well. Well linked to central Nairobi with public transport such as Matatu's and Boda Boda.
Well equipped kitchen and the place is kept very clean.
Excellent host who is interested in her guests and helpful in solving any issues. She is an experienced traveler herself.
Stayed three weeks and will return.
