This was not a fun trip for us. My father's health was worsened during his tour to China and got him hospitalized at Dujiangyan People's Hospital. My sister and I had to go to Dujiangyan to take care of him. Most of the time we booked the hotel only to sleep and took a bath in turn as one of us need to accompanied him at the hospital. However, Crowne Plaza Dujiangyan had been great, all the staffs are very attentive and willing to help us. I would like to commend Mark Liu as he helped us a lot. From making sure the car went inside the lobby so my father did not need to walk far, adding extra breakfast for us to helped us print some documents for hospital's need. The room service lady was also very sweet to us.
The room we stayed was awesome, clean and spacious. However the room was a tad too warm for my liking. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Dujiangyan.

Stay here while in Dujiangyan

New Rooms

Stayed for 2 nights to see the pandas.
Booked the room with club access lounge and was given the 12th floor rooms. Rooms looks new and just had a refurbishment exercise. Rooms are spacious and came with free mini bar offering.
Checkin was a breeze with minimal English spoken. Staff were helpful.
Elevators can be slow with big tour groups. The food offering on the menu are extensive mix of western n eastern choices, though we did not try except for the Chinese food from the restaurant.
The club lounge access has limited food offering, and the timings were restrictive 5-7pm. Not a good choice to pay for the lounge access, can skip since u won’t be using much of the lounge and looks more like a separate dining hall. We did not try the breakfast as I would imagine having to juggle with the tour bus visitors.
There is limited food choices near the hotel. A short taxi ride get (15 rmb) you into the downtown tourist sites.
Would stay here again but will not take up the lounge access.

Unfortunately, you did not enjoy the hotel breakfast. Our breakfast is very rich, and we hope that next time you can try the hotel breakfast, it will bring you surprises. We will serve every family member with care and look forward to meeting you again.
