This was my first time in Chongqing and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is located near major tourist areas but the area is nice and quiet. They have many shops and restaurants in the surroundings. When you order delivery, they’ll send it to your room with a robot. James was wonderful during our entire stay and he made it even more special. Everyone was so helpful and their hospitality was some of the best I’ve encountered in China. I’ll definitely be booking again.

This hotel is quite dated, and I strongly advise non-smokers to consider alternative accommodations. During my stay, only two elevators were operational. Furthermore, the air conditioning was ineffective; despite the 31°C spring weather, the system emitted warm air due to its centralized design and lack of individual temperature control. We were forced to request a fan. Finally, bottled water was left open and returned to its original location.

Not use to having foreign guests.
Ordered their club sandwich through room service and had three front of house staff come to my room.
Was told they only had noodle.
Pointed out that their menu showed a huge list available and that most of it was available 24/7 . Was then told it was sold out and inguired of them how can a sandwich be sold out when all the ingredients are in the kitchen and available for breakfast the next day.
I got my sandwich which was good.
They need an English Speaking Manager in the evening.
During breakfast I had several staff that spoke great English.
