The owner and his wife are very sweet and helpfull. They were a big help for planning our route in zhangjiajie national forest park and our tour to the Tianmen mountain

the place feels like grandma's house, warm, calm and smells like fresh baked bread.. antie is nice and helpful, she'll provide you with a convenient itinerary and the place is a few minutes walk from the south gate, and if you arrived late in the day you can do the golden whip stream walk. Had a great stay.

If you’re planning to visit Zhangjiajie National Park, I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s only a 10-15 minute walk from the South Gate entrance, making it incredibly convenient. The house sits atop a hill, so just be prepared for a fairly long staircase on the way up. However, the peaceful surroundings and amazing views make it worth the climb.
This is a family-run guesthouse, and the hosts are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They can even prepare meals with fresh ingredients from their garden – I had dinner here once, and it was delicious! The rooms are simply furnished, but everything was spotlessly clean, and I slept well every night. Overall, it’s an excellent value for the price, especially for the location and warm hospitality.

We had an amazing time. The owner was very kind and helpful, he helped us to plan the 2 day itinerary to the park and avoid all the crowd. The communication with a translator on the phone was smooth. We had breakfast and diner at his place and could even choose the vegetables we wanted to eat from his garden!
It's a guest house more than a hotel, the owner and his wife live there too and we like the atmosphere.
The taxi took us until the top of the hill, the park entrance it's 10 min walking down by the stairs, and on the way back you have to go up (15min walking). Being up the hill you have a beautiful view and it's really calm. Thank to him and his wife, we had an amazing experience of Zhangjiaje ! Thanks 😊

For me this place is a big No ! It’s far to expensive for what it is. Cny 78 for a room and chinese squats toilet. It’s winter with close to zero 0 temperatures and the host did not let me use the AC / heater! Walls are dirty and the location is very inconvenient. If you have a backpack it’s easy but with luggage- it was difficult. No direct street access. Walking up many steep stairs with all luggages from the city street and when one is for up to 6 month in China between school location hopping - one has a little more luggage. Big plus. Old couple are very helpful, sweet and friendly and helped with the luggage. But they did not know how to do the check in. They don’t provide water to drink - usually all places provide 2 small bottles. They did not offer any dinner nor breakfast - even for extra charge. No real farm experience where you can taste any farm dishes. All in all. To expensive ! Plus. Bathroom is even sharing with another room. It’s a big no. Got that price !
