The hotel is located in the ancient city. Not too far from the main entrance. Easy to getting around. The room is clean and cozy. Lovely tea bar and snack are also available. Very nice and helpful owner. Capybara definitely recommend this place for your holiday in Shangri-la

We had a wonderful stay at Galo Inn! The room we booked had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, featuring heated floors, a humidifier, and even a patio where guests could relax and enjoy tea by the window. The host thoughtfully prepared plenty of snacks and even had glucose water ready. She was incredibly friendly and approachable, always cheerful and full of energy. When she found out we hadn’t eaten, she even invited us to join them for lunch. Best of all, they have an adorable cat, 八月, named after her birth month, August!

From the moment we arrived, the hotel owners treated very friendly. As a welcome gesture, they prepared a cup of tea for each of us. Despite the language barrier, they explain how to use the amenities in the room, even using a translator to ensure we understood everything clearly. I am very appreciate their effort.
To our pleasant surprise, the hotel looked even better in person than in the photos on Trip.com—something that rarely happens. One of the standout features was the bathroom, which was clean and well-equipped.
The location is also excellent, just a short distance from Guishan Park. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Shangri-La.

I was upgraded to a better room, thank you very much for that and when I got there, my room was not ready, so the owner invited me for lunch. If I was coming back to Shangri-La I would come back there.
