Been before, will stay again.

Location is exceptional. Outside the front door is a bus stop. All routes call at Admiralty. Useful if you miss the free shuttle. Atmosphere is super friendly and respectful. Rooms had everything we needed. Value is excellent. Clean. Service is attentive and cheerful. Amenities covered everything we required. We are repeat guests and will continue to stay here whenever we need accommodation in Hong Kong.

Good value place to stay in Hong Kong but old-fashioned and quirky in an odd way.

This is a slightly bizarre hotel. It was renovated 30 years ago also and since then not much else seems to have happened in the rooms. That being said, they are perfectly functional and adequate. You have to use your room key to turn on the electricity in your room. The views from the upper floors are particularly good.
The front desk staff are particularly helpful and friendly. There is also helpfully cold water and cookies here. There is a bus stop right outside and a useful hotel bus which runs according to the schedule provided.
The restaurant is a weak point. Pleasant enough staff, but it seems dreadfully inefficient with one person taking the order and handing it to someone else who then moves the plates around and looks a bit offended if you ask for a top up on your coffee.
It really could do with some modernisation and some injection of modern Hotel management into this aspect. The breakfast are okay, but there is a curious voucher system which the staff seem to be confused about as I was presented will a bill even though I had already presented a voucher or more than one occasion. They also have a outdated dress code. Understandably you can't wear beachwear, but this includes flip-flops (including smart designer leather ones), but you can wear those dreadful 'sliders'.
There is a laundry just down the street, the hotel also provides laundry but this is very expensive, although efficient.
In summary, a good value place to stay in Hong Kong but old-fashioned and quirky in an odd way.

Bishop Lei is basically a very very old building with an amazing staff trying to make the best of their aging property. The doors are heavy, your room key is a physical key, the decor and appliances are not quite ergonomic, etc. You will regularly see technicians around because that many problems arise for them to fix, but at least they are addressing it in a timely fashion. If you like old school charm with a great and attentive staff, and for a very fair price considering HK's market, Bishop Lei is a great choice.
Two pieces of advice: the hotel shuttle should be advertised more clearly for arriving visitors, specifically the Hong Kong station pickup point, as navigating Midlevels can be hell for those with large luggage; also every room is "furnished" with a very bulky wooden chair that just doesn't make sense with how the rooms are laid out, just get rid of it.

Good, reasonable hotel.

The rooms are small (normal for HK). We got a deluxe suite whcih was very good. The restaurant is good. The staff was very helpful. Their shuttle is very convenient. Location is very good, close by the Soho area, restaurants, bars..
