Good location, but needs improvement

Hung Hom / Whampoa is a nice place for living, the shuttle service is convenient and well furnished with acceptable maintenance service. However, I would not recommend it to my friends because:
1.Lighting system is inflexible and often malfunctions – only one fixed overhead bulb (around 8W cool white), no warm/cold tone adjustment, no dimmer switch. Malfunctioned once during my stay (flickered for 10 mins before stabilizing). Not ideal for evening reading or relaxing.
2.Noise from neighbours is quite noticeable – thin walls and floors let through footsteps, phone conversations and occasional baby cries from nearby units. Road traffic from Hung Lok Road adds to the background hum at night.
3.Too crowded – lift waiting time often 2–3 minutes during peak hours, and the shuttle queue can get long with commuters.
Overall convenient for transport, but small upgrades in lighting control and soundproofing would make a big difference.

Good location, terrible noise & service

Hung Hom / Whampoa is a nice place for living, the shuttle service is convenient and well furnished with acceptable mainteinance service. However, I would not recommend it to my friends because:
1) terrible service from ALL staff, very rude & don't care about the guests
2) Noise from neighbours is very serious, you can hear people talking on phone / footsteps/ music / babies crying from all directions. Zero soundproofing from the walls & floors
3) Too crowded - you have to wait for the lift for ages...and it also means the shuttle queue is very long too

Trust me you don’t want to stay in here

This is the worst experience ever and trust me the fact that this is too much of a sweet deal at first sight but you’d regret it. I signed a one year deal and I absolutely regretted it. Management has no clue what they are doing, heartless, cold and absolutely terrible service.
Mattress are as hard as rock I don’t know how people can sleep I ended up sleeping on the couch every night! I asked if I could buy my own mattress and I wasn’t even allowed.
Whatever that you asked for they simply don’t care they care about your rent and nothing else you get no help AT ALL. Even if you ask for help you ended up repeating yourself for serval times until you feel exhausted and be like look that’s it it’s even better not to deal with them and suck it up . Please think twice before renting this place. It has been a nightmare for me and I can only say yes the rules and staff and management team are rotten to the core and I say that with no exaggeration. Please do take it seriously.

Worst Management: No AirCon, Cockroaches, and Heartless Staff who don’t care

I’ve lived here since February and knew coming in that service was nonexistent (it is), but thought it wouldn’t affect me. After all, I just want to rent a 2 bedroom apartment for several months while I find a better permanent place.
Unfortunately Harbourview Horizons is everything that the bad reviews say and more: came back home to a cockroach and all 3 ACs not working on a 30 degree summer day. This is the SECOND time the air conditioning stopped working. The reception said there is no staff to fix the AC, we have to wait until the next morning. What kind of serviced apartment, “famitel” is this?!? It’s in their contract to provide utilities that work. How can you not care about leaving your rent paying tenants without air conditioning during one of the hottest weeks of the year?
I’ll tell you what this place is. A money grubbing, heartless, no good for nothing property. STAY AWAY. You think it looks nice but the people and management are rotten to the core.

WORST SERVICE & MANAGEMENT TEAM!!

THE MOST RIPPING OFF, IRRESPONSIBLE and UNPROFFESIONAL management team that you can ever find. We met the sales team and got a deal of 30k per month for total 2 month stay. They told us that's the only and best offer that we can get and that there is only 1 room left so we need to decide quick. Right when we moved in, there is an advertisement in the lift offering to stay for 15 days for only 13K + maid service (anyone with a "wise" brain would offer cheaper price for longer stay but not here). We tried complaining to the front desk staff of how unprofessional their team is for not offering us the complete deal before we signed the contract and that they literally just ripped us off by almost HKD 8000 in difference for those 2 months, on top of the fact that they lied to us that there is only 1 room left. It turned out to be useless and they simply turned us to the marketing team, which is no better. At last we requested to talk to the manager and he simply tried to BS you off and told you that too bad you already signed the contract and we will try better next time. Before he hang up the phone, he even had the face to remind us pay our upcoming invoice. We used to stay at this place for almost 2 years previously and they don't seem to care to keep loyal tenants. Simply take it or leave it attitude. If you want to have a pleasant stay in Hong Kong, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!
