The hotel is bare bones for amenities but the location is excellent. The bed is comfortable, the A/Cis adequate, the WiFi was reasonable. In effect, It was all I wanted for a 6 night business trip where I was gone all day attending trade fairs in the area. I am not hugely demanding and it was all I needed and it was reasonably priced for what I needed. It is secure, staff is very helpful and there 24 hours a day and right by the MTR for TST/East TST. Good rate moneychangers next door at ChungKing Mansions. All kinds of restaurants in the area, no matter what cuisine you want, from fast food to Irish Pub to Gourmet so I am happy with the place and will come back again.

First & Last

Price considered quite low among others in TST area.
But the facilities and hotel interior are old.
TV switched on not even 5mins will automatically switch off by itself.
Air-con switched off still feel cold.
Telephone was useless as I tried to call Reception, Housekeeping, Duty Manager for several times 2 days consecutively but no one answer.
The water dripping nonstop in the toilet bowl.
One of the shower room glass door missing, caused the whole bathroom was wet entirely.
The wifi was unstable.
"Machinery" noise in the room for 4 nights.
Not recommend for high floor as the elevators only have 2, very slow.
Check-out very fast. The staff one hand took over the keycard, another hand pointing at the exit door, without saying a word.
The only key advantage is location, super convenient.

Air condition control by hotel management. If you want more cooling in your room, it doesn't work.

Calling this a 3 star hotel is definitely misleading. I’ve been to motels in better condition. You should only book this place if you’re ok with sleeping in used sheets (when I lifted the blanket I found a cut out paper car, something you’d find in a children’s book.) I was awoken by the sound on construction work so loud that it sounded like someone was drilling my headboard. The receptionist gaslit me into thinking it was from outside but when I was back up on my floor I could literally feel the floor vibrating from the power tools. I eventually realised it was coming from a room a few doors away. I knocked on the door and as I suspected they were renovating the entire room at 9am in the morning. After being pissed at the guy he assured me that he would stop and continue at 10am. But of course at 9:45 he was back at it again. Manager said all this was a communication error due to lack of speaking English but honestly time is universal. If you point at your watch and say you won’t start again until 10 o’clock you know exactly what you’re saying. So yeah book at your own risk and good luck!

Terrible hotel. 0 value for the price. In actuals no where near to what they advertise in pictures. Highly discourage anyone considering
