Customer service is Superb!

I had a wonderful stay at Rambler Oasis Hotel. The customer service was superb from start to finish. The staff were always helpful, courteous, and quick to respond to any requests.
One thing I really appreciated was that the room was cleaned daily without even having to request it. The room was always fresh, clean, and smelled great.
During my stay, I unfortunately lost my wallet. The hotel staff immediately assisted me and helped review the CCTV footage right away, which showed their genuine concern and willingness to help guests.
Whenever I requested additional amenities, they were delivered promptly with no delays.
Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend Rambler Oasis Hotel to anyone looking for excellent service, cleanliness, and attentive staff.

Put a huge downer on an amazing city!

Location – terrible. You’re stuck in the middle of a loud, busy dock area that feels miles away from everything.
Rooms – tiny, dirty, and very run down. Nothing like the photos. The bathroom is about the size of a compact caravan setup — I’m 5’8” and my knees hit the door when sitting on the toilet. I’ve stayed in some rough places before, and this one definitely makes the list.
We booked for five people, but only four beds were provided. We then had to pay extra to upgrade just to get a fifth bed — felt ripped off from the start.
There was constant noise outside the rooms late at night and early in the morning, people smoking right by the entrance, and nowhere nearby to get food unless you catch a $20 bus — otherwise you’re stuck with an overpriced 7/11.
The beds are quite hard (which I don’t mind), but the dirty pillowcase was unacceptable. The air conditioning unit was directly above my bed and dripped on me multiple times during the night.
Positives… honestly struggling to find any apart from the cleaning lady! She is lovely, she gave me an extra pillow! Legend!!

Front counter staffs are very attentive and efficient. The room is clean but the furniture and the washroom need to be updated. AC is good. One thing I like to mention is about the grey hair lady who opened the door every Morning. Even she had a mask on, her greeting was so heartwarming. I can see from her eyes and I can hear from her tune of voice.

Practical Stay, Room Served Its Purpose

I booked Rambler Oasis Hotel for my teenage boys’ short visit. The Guest Services Manager coordinated promptly by email, which I appreciated. I even reserved the prior night to ensure the room was ready past midnight, and made separate bookings for each day.
I’ve been to Hong Kong many times and usually stay in 5‑star hotels with rooms of at least 45 sq.m. By comparison, the standard room at Rambler was too compact for my preference. Next time, if I choose the same area, I will opt for a bigger room. For my teenage boys, however, it was fine — they only used it for sleeping since they were out all day, and they even made fun of how small the room was.
Cleanliness was acceptable, staff were responsive, and the stay was convenient overall. The view was of the harbor, though nearby construction affected the experience. For longer stays, a larger room would definitely be more comfortable.
Having stayed in many hotels from 3‑star to 7‑star, I really couldn’t expect more from this property. It was a practical choice for a short stay — coordinated, convenient, and enough for my teenage boys’ needs.

We had a good two night stay at this property. There are no local stores or restaurants but…there is a bus stop within a very short walk where you can take a public light bus to Maritime Square (12 minutes). That is a huge MTR Mall with tons of shops and restaurants of all types. The bus costs 4 HKD each way and runs every 10-15 minutes.
The hotel is well air conditioned and has an elevator to all floors. We found the front desk open at all hours with friendly staff.
From the airport you take the AirPort Express Line to Tsing Yi and a taxi to the hotel, maybe 7 minutes away by car. Taxis are clean and cheap in Hong Kong so don’t hesitate. At Maritime Square you can take the MTR (underground) to absolute anywhere in Hong Kong. It’s cheap and convenient. Buy an Octopus Card at the airport and load it up with about 200 HKD to start. You can top it up anywhere in the city (7-11 or any station). This will get you on any train,bus or some taxis.
Bottom line…the hotel is clean, cheap and we will stay here again.
