The owner was super friendly and helped me plan my trip around the scenic area as well as arranging a taxi back to the high speed railway station. The hotel was conveniently located near a bus stop and the park entrance with restaurants and convenience stores around.
Negatives would be the water wasn’t always warm and the room could have done with a hoover.

The location of the Hotel is great and the owner offered us help with everything we had questions in regarding the mountain and how to climb it. The catering service was also excellent, they serve local cuisine and some all-time favourites too. Stayed for 1 night, but it is good for entire weekends too.

We stayed at this hotel mainly for its location, and it didn’t disappoint — it’s super close to the mountain entrance, and they even offer a free ride there, which was really convenient.
What truly stood out was the receptionist. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, taking the time to patiently walk us through the hiking routes, including the timing and pricing for the cable cars. He even gave us his personal ratings for each scenic spot, which helped us decide what to prioritize. Later that evening, when we hadn’t returned for a while, he actually called to check if we were okay — a really thoughtful gesture that made us feel cared for.
As for the hotel itself, it’s decent. The beds aren’t the most comfortable, but they’re not terrible either. Cleanliness could be improved, but by China standards, it was pretty clean — the sheets and towels were fresh, and both the AC and WiFi worked well.
Breakfast is very basic: boiled eggs, steamed buns, and soy milk for 15¥. Honestly, I’d recommend skipping it and grabbing some yogurt or fruit from one of the many nearby supermarkets instead.
Overall, it’s not a luxurious stay, but for the price and the service, especially the staff’s hospitality, it’s worth considering if you’re planning to hike the mountain.
