A wonderful experience that is highly recommended.
As of August 2026, The Langham Place Xiamen is near Gaoqi international airport, about 15 minutes. This is set to change when the airport relocates by the end of 2026/ beginning of 2027. Catching a car to/from the airport to the hotel was about rmb40 to 65.
Location of this hotel is at Huli and it is a little further away from the tourist attractions, which in fair honesty was the reason I chose it, as I didn’t want to be too close to the hustle and bustle. Car rides are easy to order and takes about 15 to 20 minutes or so, depending on traffic, to arrive at the older area of Siming.
The hotel is conveniently located next to Wanda Plaza, a shopping mall that has a large Walmart supermarket, goldsmiths, some clothing and sports shop, Starbucks, kfc, chagee tea and other eateries. Next to it, is an alley of restaurants and snack places. Catching a car, it takes about 10 minutes to SM city and about 5 or so minutes to Powerlong City mall.
What drew us to this hotel was that it was non smoking and had a family suite. The service was exceptional, with a particular mention to Camilia and Nora, who works in the Club Lounge. They were always most pleasant and friendly, despite the language barrier. Both made the stay enjoyable, Another mention goes to the lovely housekeeping lady that greeted us each morning with a smile and a friendly chat. Check in and concierge staffs were all very friendly and helpful.
As we had a suite, it came with breakfast at the restaurant, afternoon tea at the L bar and happy hour at the club lounge, for 2 adults. There was also daily 2 pieces of laundry service, which was very useful as there was no laundromat facility nearby.
Admittedly, breakfast was a little disappointing, and interior of the restaurant was a huge contrast to the rest of the hotel, However, afternoon tea and happy hour at the club lounge was both good.
The room we had was a family suite, which included a room with a king size bed partitioned by 2 sliding doors which led to a room with a single bed. The room had a shared bathroom. Amenities were good and nothing was lacking, There was also a walk in wardrobe with a safe and an umbrella provided.
Club access also offered complimentary mini bar, and there was a generous amount of bottled waters at the lift and within the room. There was tea making facilities and a nespresso machine.
Other facilities that the hotel had was a 25m pool and a gym. I did not use either.
The club lounge other than the lovely staff (Camilia and Nora) that manned it, had 2 massage chairs, a games room and an upstairs dining area.

Luxury Hotel is professional and comfortable
The cleanliness of the hotel is bright, the former waitress Lucky is professionally enthusiastic, impressive, stayed 8 nights, a great hotel, we expect to visit Xiamen in August, and we will stay 6 nights again.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and willing to help with any questions or requests. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh and delicious options, and everything was well prepared. The hotel’s location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and public transportation. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my experience and would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Great Place to stay in XiaMen
I love Langham Place hotel XiaMen and enjoy every time I have the opportunity to stay there. The breakfast is so rich and tasty. The best espresso an European traveler can have in XiaMen, and the Jing tea is awesome. Rooms are spacious and well furnished, clean and light.
