Wonderful experience
Wonderful experience . Ski in and out almost . Except for some hiccups at ski house everyone else was exceptionally helpful and patient

It was my first time staying at Park Hyatt Changbaishan, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The butler service was truly exceptional, and a special shoutout to Romy, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She was incredibly caring and thoughtful, helping us arrange transport and even assisting with sending a parcel back to Malaysia. We were here for a birthday celebration, and she surprised us with a free room upgrade, which made the trip even more special.
The food at the hotel was delicious and comforting, though we do hope for more variety in the future. The breathtaking views and the overall experience were perfect, and we can’t wait to return for another stay.
One suggestion for improvement: it would be great if there were a map to make the area more tourist-friendly. There are many shops around the hotel, but we didn’t realize this until after skiing. A guide would make exploring the area much easier for guests.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Park Hyatt Ski Resort in Changbaishan, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.
Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the staff, who went above and beyond to ensure my check-in process was smooth and pleasant. Their friendliness and attentiveness made me feel right at home. Throughout my stay, the staff remained incredibly helpful, always ready to assist with any request, whether it was recommendations for local dining or arranging transportation.
The accommodations were nothing short of luxurious. My room was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views. The attention to detail in the decor and amenities truly reflects the high standards of the Park Hyatt brand.
The resort’s facilities were also impressive, with a fantastic outside hot spring in the snow that provided a perfect retreat after a long day on the slopes. The dining options were delightful, featuring a range of delicious cuisine that catered to all tastes. Each meal was a culinary delight, and the service was impeccable.
Another highlight was the ski access; the location is ideal for both beginners and experienced skiers. The staff at the ski resort provided excellent guidance and support, making it easy to enjoy the slopes.

A good choice in both winter and summer
The cold, forestry and artistic design of Park Hyatt always attracts me to explore more of their hotels, and Park Hyatt Changbaishan is a classic of it.
We booked a suite in the main building for a week. Decor and furnitures are a fusion of ancient Chinese and local manchu styles. There are even ancient Chinese books on shelves for guests to read.
The ‘Yue Ting’ restaurant on the first floor of the main building is a miracle! Been there everyday for dinner. We love Chinese Dongbei foods and it satisfied all our expectations. The Sandaolin fish caught locally is purely delicious. Blueberry Guobaorou (crispy fried pork slices) is also signature.
The hotel locates in the Wanda resort area so it’s pretty close to some entertainment options such as waterpark and local cultural activities. As a ski resort in winter one may think it’s ski-in ski-out chalet is the most competitive but I assure you summer is also a very good season to enjoy the mountain view and greenery of Changbaishan. Five out of five.
Ps. They also have three Alaskan Malamutes (who are a family–father, mother, and daughter) for guests to social or play with. They were fed very well and looked so happy. Adorable!
