A modern go to hotel if you are staying near kunming airport

My first stay at any Wingate property I was very impressed by this modern luxurious hotel with local Kunming hospitality. Sun Wang helped me with my luggage to settle into my room. Sun then provided personalized travel tips during my two nights there through out Another concierge 小时xiao shi was also above and beyond As he helped me even after working hours. Peter front desk was helpful.
Right next to traditional yunnan restaurant. Kudos to superb work by sun wang. Xiaoshi

Nice to be near the airport for an early flight

Very modern-looking and attractive but we in the tour group only had one night's experience. There were many hotels during our tour, and this one stands out for one of the most slippery-when-wet bathroom floors we experienced. CAUTION! Really!
As for the TV, unlike most other hotels only showing domestic Chinese channels, this one was apparently wired for cable but all the foreign stations (like CNN, CNBC) displayed "no signal". Also the room had a small refrigerator whose light went on when the door opened but there was no way to turn it on.
Can't judge the food, as we had to leave too early.
Were we to have stayed longer, we might have asked for some improvements but it is an airport hotel after all. I feel certain the friendly staff would have helped.

The hotel is amazing, with Balmain set body wash. We also received the shuttle to the airport in which properly organized.

Overall good but the toilet bath room is smelly maybe need some repair for the drainage. Services and respond are very good !

Nearly perfect. Room was spacious and tidy. Loved the roomy bathroom. Peaceful and quiet room. Close shot to the airport made it convenient.
Only small issue was the thermostat. Room stayed at 24C the whole time, even when turning it down. So room was a bit stuffy, but not too extreme.
Overall, a very pleasant and quiet experience.
