Good mid-priced hotel in convenient location

We stayed 4 nights in April 2024 and had a great stay. We booked a super deluxe double room via Booking.com for ¥864 a night (around €112). The room was quite spacious with a seating area and a table with bar stools. It looked exactly the same as the photos online and was in excellent condition.
Communication with the hotel through Booking was excellent. They organised an airport pick up for us on arrival for ¥200. The staff, Zachary and Sunshine, were also extremely helpful during our stay. For example we didn’t know you have to book to visit Tiananmen Square and Sunshine did it for us on her phone and also helped with a restaurant booking. She also booked our return taxi to the airport.
The hotel is located in an extremely busy hutong which is full of touristy shops and food outlets and is packed at all times. Off this hutong are quiet ones which are nice to wander around. You can walk to Shichahai subway station in around 10 minutes. The Houhai lakes and drum and bell towers are also in walking distance.
The hotel is listed on Google Maps as ‘Beijing downtown backpackers’ so presumably it used to be a hostel. The reception and corridors look like a budget hotel and could do with some redecoration. However, the room itself was nice with new furniture and good amenities. The only thing missing was a fridge and a couple of things need updating in the bathroom. Despite the busy location, the hotel was very quiet. Note that the hotel does not offer any breakfast options. There are a couple of cafes nearby as well as a Starbucks.
Overall a good option and reasonably priced. Recommended.

Comfort and beauty in the hutong

I had a three-night stopover in Beijing before going to Tokyo and I booked this hotel. The choice turned out to be very good because it is located near the metro in a truly delightful hutong and it is a structure with large, beautiful and very clean rooms. It also offers many conveniences such as a complete set of excellent toiletries, coffee, tea and two free bottles of water per day. But the thing that struck me most was the comfort of the beds: spectacular mattresses with immaculate sheets. All around there are restaurants, pastry shops, bars.... The staff is very helpful, I had forgotten some earrings and they immediately took action to return them to me.
I would recommend it!

The hotel is located in Nanluoguxiang. During the day, there is a huge flow of tourists. Entering the hotel is another world, very quiet. You can visit Nanluoguxiang anytime and anywhere. There is a subway station on one side of the alley and a breakfast street on the other. The location is very convenient. The hotel is very clean. When we left, we saw that the aunt had changed the sheets, quilts, pillowcases, and felt very at ease. The only thing that needs to be improved is that the mobile phone signal is not good, and the WiFi in the store is sometimes intermittent.
