Excellent experience. We got upgraded to the bigger room during check with free breakfast and king size beds.
The receptionist Xiao Wei is extremely helpful and answered all the questions we had and any queries about room service.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone especially family with kids.

I feel like the reviews on this hotel and I'd say most trip.com hotels are totally over rated. All the written reviews gave glowing descriptions, I'm not sure why other than great hotel staff. Crystal Orange had a 9.7 rating which should be near perfect. They are far from it.
The hotel is need of an outside facelift, the building looks like it hasn't had any exterior maintenance for decades. The interior is truly dated but I will say that the original concept carried throughout the lobby, dining room and rooms was kind of cool, but for the 80's. For the most part interior maintenance has been good. Everything works, everything inside is just a little worn but totally usable. The staff are the stars of this hotel, they are kind, helpful and determined to make you feel at home, not just the front desk but cleaning and restaurant as well. Breakfast was decent, even if you aren't Chinese you'll find something good to get your day going.
For me I will say the big negative is the neighborhood. It is a very locals living area with many quick food places and absolutely nothing to attract a tourist. I had several conversations with locals who were truly kind and inquisitive. That has been my experience throughout China.
If you stay here you'll need an 30 minute to 1 hour car ride to get somewhere interesting.
Crystal Orange cost twice what I'm paying in Chengdu for a luxurious 500 sq ft. apartment hotel that has more amenities than I've ever experienced in a hotel.

Booked a 6D5N stay via trip.com but during check in, was offered by hotel staff to modify the booking to only 1 night. The remaining 4 nights booked via a local app and was told the total amount to pay for new booking will not cost more than what was initially paid. Had to remake payment on the spot which consumed some time due to language barrier. New booking had breakfast included. Later, I realised the total amount paid via new booking was actually more due to the breakfast add on. I’m fine with it as the food served was quite decent and acceptable. Pleasant stay in the hotel after all.

Great staffs from reception all the way to the cleaners, they were very polite. Room wasnt upgraded for free like all the other comments, paid like 55 rmb per night extra. Very advance with all the A.I. functions. Room was small, dont think the measurement shown was correct. Hotel is pretty old. Bad sound proofing. A little far from train station but still walkable.
