Wonderful Family Resort with Excellent Service
We had an excellent stay at Sheraton Qiandao Lake Resort for our family reunion. We were upgraded to rooms with beautiful views over Qiandao Lake, and the hotel’s facilities were ideal for family-event. The indoor children’s playroom, supervised spaces for kids, gaming setups, table tennis, shuffleboard, and both indoor and outdoor swimming pools made it easy to enjoy a full range of activities, in particular during the hot summer. Breakfast and the lounge were both excellent, and what impressed us most was the warm, attentive service from the reception team and supervisors, especially Celina, who was always friendly and ready to help. We originally stayed for four days but enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay by another three days. It was a truly memorable experience, and we would happily return.

Although this resort is old, it is well maintained and the facilities are clean. I hope the hardware such as the light switch can be upgraded. The service is very warm and thoughtful. I will come again.

Very Nice!
April can be cloudy in the area of China so plan your stay in March. This hotel is very good but is showing its age as well as there are smokers that destroy the clean rooms. We got an upgrade to the business suite which is very big actually!
The room is showing age but well maintained except for the smoking problem that plagues all hotels in China so be aware.
Very nice hotel grounds with an OK lake shore. Very professional employees. Very nice Club with a long afternoon time time, happy hours and very well done hot dishes and drinks!

The sanitary horror of the Sheraton Green City Thousand Island Lake
After a few days in Chin Island Lake, to the Sheraton Green City hotel, Sunny at the front desk was very enthusiastic, and taught us to play there, eat and drink there, Sunny really can't say the profession, Sunny even arranged a large suite, and deliberately asked someone to see it before letting us go to stay (in retrospect, it should have been a room for too long, we stayed in the room after someone had to check the room, ask if we had a problem...), but when we entered the room was very wrong, the old cadres were Sheraton features, no problem, the lake view set was more invincible sea view, but the room moldy and wet very uncomfortable, once in the room you want to sleep, sick and tired, told Sunny to play around, completely unable to mention, lying down for a while there did not want to go, then to the Executive Lounge to eat a little and then go back to bed, even out of the balcony has no motivation. When I woke up the next day, my girlfriend's left waist (the size of a palm) was full of red spots red sores, I thought like mosquitoes stinging for two days was fine, so I simply reported it, how to know a few days itching, more pain at night, as soon as I returned to Guangdong immediately went to the hospital, confirmed to be papules urticaria (also known as insect bite dermatitis).
The situation was especially serious when my girlfriend had tender white skin, and these scars couldn't go for a year and a half. A good night's stay would have caused an accident, and hotel manager joanna was more assured of her commitment, saying she trusted Marriott (my girlfriend and I are also titanium and live in Marriott for years), and as a result, she saw a doctor and confirmed that the hygiene of the hotel bed was extremely poor and asked us to disinfect all our clothes. When I got home and asked the hotel manager sammy for tens of thousands of points, I said I was responsible for the medical expenses, nothing else, I didn't do the hotel at all, I couldn't do it well and I wasn't responsible, basically running a hotel to hurt people.

Broken air conditioner
I had a frustrating experience during my stay at Sheraton because the air conditioner in my room was not working properly. After reporting it, an engineer finally came and casually told me that 25°C is “normal” for Marriott hotels—completely ignoring my discomfort. I had to complain again at 10:15 PM, and only then did a front desk staff member come up and admit the AC was clearly broken, especially since the room next door was at a comfortable 21°C. This whole mess dragged on for FOUR HOURS. Four hours of sweating and waiting for basic air conditioning—this is exactly what Sheraton stands for: slow, dismissive, and unacceptable service. Extremely disappointing.
