Nice Lunch

After a morning at the Qingdao Municipal Museum, we were taken here by our hosts. We only came for lunch, but what a selection. Plenty to choose from, and all nicely prepared. Having eaten quite bit on previous days, I settled for a nice light lunch. very tasty, very much welcomed.

could offer better value for money

1. location - approx 30 min from airport.
2. rooms
- clean.
- bit more light would be welcome - rooms seem dark in the evening.
3. breakfast
- normal
4. no gym
5. service - very friendly and efficient staff.

Nice location a bit expensive

Stayed at this hotel for a business trip to Qingdao University. Nice located in Laoshan district close to new sub-way. Rooms were a bit run-down , minor flaws and dirt. No heat - one week before heat was turned on. Breakfast , buffet, was very good, and the 1. floor restaurant had good selection of fish. Waiters have only little mastering of english - bring google translate. Would not mind stay there again, but it was pricey for Qingdao .
Internet access was good. There was no exercise room.

Conveniently located for business

An average hotel, very conveniently located in the heart of Qingdao city and a reasonable choice for a business traveller. Basic amenities are provided but renovation of rooms could see this hotel become a destination of choice for many business travellers. The restaurant is good and so is the spa

A bit too expensive

I do feel the room is a bit too expensive even after discount due to the event taking place. Although we have booked deluxe room but upon arrival one deluxe room was short and I ended up had to take the more expensive one. As usual, the days were hectic and I would be happy even with smaller room. The additional space not utilized. By right, they should have upgraded me without me paying additional.
Having said that the room is clean and very nice. Two televisions that I used for 30 minutes for my whole duration. Mostly in Mandarin and I don't understand it. I love green tea so it is good when I had enough stock provided FOC by the hotel. Looking at the price of green tea at Leader Plaza, I would suppose the price of green tea was part of the cost of the room that made them expensive. I wish they have a pipe for toilet although it is not customary for China. Yet this is international hotel.
Breakfast was great. A lot of choice.
As I mentioned earlier ... Leader Plaza is just next door to very convenient to buy things. I love Laoshan Mineral Water.
The receptionist not very good in English and need improvement there.
Airconditioner not very cold but it is okay.
I like it when it does have one plug "Uninterruptible Power Supply" so that I could have my handphones, tablet charged when I am out of the room for breakfast etc.
Good experience but the room cost a bit steep.
