Convenient, friendly, awesome

It's near to BINGO mall, and some office area, also if you come over from the airport, there's line to. (SHA and PVG, both). Clean, tidy, friendly, organised and I just love their afternoon tea and happy hour. Let me share some photos for you to see!

Mismanaged # Used to be good # terrible property

Used to be a great property, apparently it has been mismanaged, increase in pricing, lower quality. Rooms were taken care of in a concerned and professional manner, now, it has changed dramatically. Apart from the Elite lounge access, which is being charged for the second guest, they closed their lounge and relocated to their lobby coffee house. Very limited choice on food and beverages, fitness center is still fine and good to go. It used to be a great property and while having stayed within Marriott group over 1000 nights within 7 years, I can only confirm: it is one of the worst properties on the entire planet. Even their payment system upon checking in didn't work and I just used it at the 4 points by Sheraton Chongqing, and within the same city of Shanghai. Their POS machine doesnt even seem to be connected. I will never stay here again, they even asked me to pay 106 RMB extra to take a second guest with me to the Elite lounge, which is a ridiculous joke.

Poor network and unreasonable service

The network is very slow and unstable on the executive wing, which is a known issue but not solved for long according to the reception’s sharing. That’s simply a joke.
And another strange phenomenon is, there is no napkin on any table in the executive lounge.
If the hotel wants to cut cost, it is OK to closed down both network and executive lounge and state it in the facility introduction. And if the situation is clearly shared, and the quality commands the price, that is completely acceptable.
But it is not if you claim something is provided but not working eventually, that is cheating.
Do something, please.
