With a wide view over Shanghai

It is a high-rise hotel in Pudong with 21 floors. The 3 elevators are very fast on the way. Be sure to give yourself a room with a balcony overlooking the park and the impressive Shanghai skyline. The surcharge is worth it in any case. Room and bathroom were spacious and well decorated. There is a metro station on line 2 nearby, which connects the airport to the city centre. Breakfast can be booked with pleasure, it also satisfies the Western European palate. Staff at reception speak sufficient English. A Didi (Chinese Uber) is on hand in 2 to 5 min. Opposite the hotel is a beautiful park right on the river for relaxing.

Hotel Dorett in Shanghai

The hotel is located on Shanghai Metro Line 2. The metro station is located in the hotel building itself, which is very convenient when moving. The reception desk is staffed by friendly personnel who handle almost all issues that arise. My room was located on the 10th floor overlooking a residential development. The rooms on the opposite side overlook the avenue and overlook the park. Rooms are large, bright. There are balconies. The room is equipped with everything you need. A flat-screen TV shows 46 channels. There's a scale in the weight control room. Air conditioning in January is used for heating. The buffet restaurant is located on the 2nd floor. Those accustomed to European food will have a lot to choose from. There's a coffee machine. The chef can make you an omelette with different fillings or eggs. Cleaning is daily. The hotel is quiet in the evenings and at night. I recommend you to book. Vyacheslav.

The staff are helpful and friendly. The hotel is clean. The location is convenient with walking distance to the metro station. Close to the exhibition center. Breakfast could be better.

A wonderful stay with exceptional hospitality

This was my second stay at the hotel, and I would definitely come back again, whether for business or personal travel. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent with a great selection, and the location is perfect for exploring Shanghai. Laundry services were great value and reliable.
A special mention goes to Thomas at the bar. He was absolutely fantastic. Not only did he make outstanding cocktails, but he was also incredibly friendly and welcoming. He really helped make my stay even more enjoyable.

Everything was excellent including the presonal at the reception, very helpful and respondive (with a perfect English). The hotel may improve breakfast: too crowded at any time, not much choice, breakfast spaces that could be cleaner.
