A nice, quaint place in Xujiahui

This hotel has more to offer than what it may look from the outside. It has the charms of a long-term, well-established kind of place with its Soviet-styled appearance. Not all hotel staff can speak English (which is expected in China) but all of them were very supportive and kind and professional. Check in and check out were both fast and smooth. The room was big and clean and the bathroom has very modern equipment. Location is convenient as it's just a short walk from a metro station, bike rent and a big, lively shopping mall with lots of food options. Also close to Longhua temple - a must-visit in the French Concession area. Highly recommend this place for those who would like to explore Xujiahui.

My recent stay at this hotel was nothing short of delightful. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and professional service. The staff were attentive, courteous, and always ready to help, making me feel welcome and well taken care of throughout my stay.
The room was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and offered all the modern comforts I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the quiet atmosphere allowed me to rest peacefully after a long day of exploring the city.
One of the highlights of the hotel is its excellent location—just a few minutes’ walk to the subway station, which made it easy to get around Shanghai. I also enjoyed visiting nearby attractions and sampling local cuisine at restaurants just around the corner.
Overall, This Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and charm. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shanghai, and I look forward to staying here again in the future

This hotel is a SCAM! When I reserved this hotel through Hotels.com, I pre-paid the hotel fee. But, the employees at the desk asked me to pay ONCE AGAIN, telling me that the fee paid over Hotels.com would be refunded.
That didn’t happen. Eventually I paid TWICE. And the hotel refused to refund.
So, I was double-charged.
I think this is a classic way to lure foreigners to pay more.
The hotel even doesn’t answer the phone.
If you don’t want to be scammed, please do not use this hotel.
