A truly rejuvenating stay – I’ll definitely be back!
I stayed at the Novotel Shanghai Dishui Lake for two nights, and it was such a refreshing experience.
The lobby offers a lovely view of Dishui Lake, and they serve complimentary healthy tea – you can either mix your own ingredients or grab a ready-to-drink blend. Check-in was quick and smooth, and the front desk staff were super friendly.
Ordering food delivery was easy, and the interior design felt modern and fresh. I especially loved the dual-layer electric blackout curtains – perfect for sleeping in. You can also cast your phone screen directly to the TV, and the minibar drinks were free of charge.
The coffee was wonderfully aromatic. But what impressed me most was the air conditioning – just the right temperature. The bed came with four pillows and a perfectly soft-firm mattress, which completely wiped out days of fatigue. I woke up feeling fully recharged.
I’ve already joined their membership program, and I’m definitely staying here again on my next trip.

Excellent facilities and clean conditions. Very nice to walk along the Dishui Lake. However the town is still under construction, and not many things I can enjoy. The location is far from city core. Hope the Lingang will be further developed.

Beside a nice hotel nearby the lake and park with activities, I appreciated the support from Alan and the other staff in the reception. They helped mw to arrange ShunFeng in the application and were very helpful otherwise . Thanks a lot.

I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations. One major issue was the bathroom and shower area being completely open to the bedroom — no door, no curtain, and absolutely no privacy. This design choice made the stay quite uncomfortable, especially if you’re sharing the room.
Additionally, the hotel lobby was far from relaxing. People were doing live selling, turning what should be a quiet place to unwind into a noisy, disruptive environment. It made it hard to take a break or enjoy any downtime there.
Overall, the lack of privacy and noisy common areas really affected the quality of the stay. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for comfort and peace.
