Amazing apartment! Has everything you need and more! Daily cleaning. Towels changed and pillows selected. Hygiene products and water refills.
There is a great market and food court across the road.

Opposite a big night market

Its location is a far from downtown. There is a bus stop just outside apartment to Sanya Railway Station and to Nanshan Temple. There are 2 coffin shops within 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Room, including the bedsheet, is clean. However, there were some stains on the bathroom screen. And, the bath towel smelt of Japanese bonito even though the towels were white and clean. Fittings in room, especially in the bathroom, are of branded quality.
Ingrid at the front desk can converse in English. Out of our 5 nights in Hainan, she was the only person who can talk to me in English.
Overall, the plus points of this apartment is its kitchenette (but without a microwave), self laundry facility, Yiheng Night Market and the seafood market.

Great hotel)

The hotel really liked it. Spacious room with kitchen (large fridge, kettle, plates, appliances were, coffee machine was not used, nor stove, pots/pans were not available), iron and board were, many cabinets, many outlets, hairdryer, etc.
Water was given every day, tea bags, cleaned well, change of linen and towels often. Dental kits, slippers, bathrobes.
We had a garden view room. Shadow side, so it was comfortable to be on the balcony during the day. The air conditioning was powerful, cooling the room in five minutes.
Breakfasts are good, there's plenty to choose from.
I caught Wi-Fi very well in my room!
Hotel staff are friendly, often asking receptionists to call a taxi through Didi (the cheapest option) and giving them cash. Used an interpreter to communicate.
There were no questions for the hotel, everything's fine.
There's a big night market across from the hotel, buying fruit there. Also there are different foods (smells specific), there is a small duffle market.
This area is Chinese, as is the hotel, compatriots were hardly encountered on the street. The hotel had several Russian families (very few).
The supermarket is big with everything you need to eat, if you leave the hotel and go left (there'll be McDonald's, but we didn't like the food). There are shops and cafes on the street. From the usual food we found Casa Mia restaurant (by the beach) - Italian food, but prices are much higher than in local cafes. For example, there's 110 yuan yuan in pizza, and a Chinese cafe used to get chicken thigh rice for 16. The usual food is in Dadonghai (there is an orientation for a Russian tourist, you can eat mash, borscht, etc.). Ride for 20-25 minutes by taxi for 25 yuan +-.
It's 20 minutes to the sea. Exit the hotel and go left to the first pedestrian crossing. Cross the street and go straight to the beach. The beach is big, no sunbeds have been seen nearby. The locals gather at sunset. Along the beach is a long promenade under palm trees. Walked along the sea from the center of Sanya (where the beach opposite Phoenix Island) about an hour to the hotel.
Hotel, Hainan, calm and sympathetic locals liked it very much. But it is worth taking into account the fact that the sea is not so close (+no sunbeds, and the sun bakes hard), the area is not oriented towards a Russian/European tourist, so there is no usual food nearby. We made up for it with trips to Dadonghai, where everything is for Russians). Very contrasting areas, it was interesting to be there and there.
You can walk to the Mangrove shopping mall (20 minutes). Also not far from 10 minutes by taxi Joy City.
Excursions – drove everywhere by taxi (Centre of Buddhism, Deer turned heads with viewing platform, Phoenix Park with funicular and night lighting, Sky Grottoes – park along the sea), and Yalong Park with glass and rope bridges rode through a local Chinese (the price included transfers and tickets, as local tickets are much cheaper).
They took a router for two phones to communicate, but one phone did not connect to it and took another local SIM for 150 yuan in the Winter Tz – there was no problem with it, and the router needs to be charged every 5 hours.
They paid everywhere in cash, no problem.

Summer Island

After a scandalous holiday with a Norwegian cruise line. My wife and I started thinking about where we should fix karma. We had a good night at the Norwegian cruise line sea station.
According to the raw data .(Visa to Taiwan only) Options were 3
1.Phuket
2. Stay in Hong Kong. (No visa for option)
3.Taiwan. We made a visa for a cruise with a Norwegian cruise line. Norvegian cruise line.. But thanks to the political agenda, Norvegian cruise line leaves Russians with a cruise and money.
Suddenly, the idea came up that China had Hainan Island, with the visa-free city of Sanya in the south of the island. Overnight tickets were issued for Hainan. Hotel booked in Sanya. Oakwood Apartments Sanya . We stayed in several places in China and Oakwood Apartments were certainly the best in both Sanya and Guangzhou. The staff were very friendly One of the advantages of Oakwood Sanya , is that near the night market across the street ,where you can have a very delicious meal ,given the specific food of China..The room was very spacious as we like. It had a Kitchenette with a bunch of appliances but we don't make anything but tea. Living room with TV.Bedroom.,shower.,bathtub. Two huge balconies ,one with leisure furniture. Breakfast was 10/10 with many different options, and the laundry was a great addition, which we took advantage of. I definitely recommend Oakwood Apartments Sanya. But it must be stipulated that the main party of Russian speakers on the Dadonghai peninsula
At 9:00 a.m., we flew into a good mood. Goodbye to the vile Norwegian cruise line . Hello Sanya!!! Summer Island.
