This hotel is close to Sanya airport. It has nice rooms facing the beach which is a 5 minute walk. It also has a nice large swimming pool but the pool is not deep. The price is also reasonable. The breakfast is not good though.

The old cleaner shouted at me because I asked her to change my bedsheets, and she kept saying I am only supposed to change bedsheets every 3 days.
She literally screamed at me and was throwing a fit.
I was so shocked and was too sleepy to respond. After that a new younger cleaner came for the rest of my stay or I would have taken her photo. It was ridiculous behaviour.

Everything was good. Although most of the stuff were not able to speak English, they were so willing to help and very friendly. The hotel is okay, you can see that it's a bit old, but it's clean and comfortable, and that's all that matters to me. It's located not far from the beach, like a 2 minute walk.

We enjoyed our stay at the Seacube. The room was very clean and spacious, and the balcony view of the bay was fantastic. Although the hotel is located further from the city centre, we found that the easy access to the beach and onsite pool were perfect for our holiday. There was a good variety of food at breakfast, however there was the same selection every day with few Western options. The apparent absence of English-speakers amongst the service staff could make it tricky for a non-Chinese speaker to easily stay here.
Our stay would have been more enjoyable if the restaurant staff simply smiled! Also, the addition of cutlery (apart from chopsticks) would be helpful, espcially knives for the available toast and jam.
If you're looking for a simple seaside holiday, the Seacube delivers. Our 12-year-old had a great time. We would stay here again.
