It is a lodging where you can rest completely.

Hosteria Horizontes I really liked its location because it is outside the bustle of Caucasia without being too far from the places where I needed to visit.. In addition the rooms are very comfortable and comfortable with air conditioning..

Excellent hotel, met expectations and even exceeded them

Amazing to get this hotel on the road to Barranquilla, coming from Bogota. We spent only one night, we were two adults and a minor, the facilities very good, the spacious room, with fan and air conditioning what is appreciated for the temperature in Caucasia. The staff of the hotel excellent. The restaurant "Culture" of the hotel very good, wide variety of dishes for dinner and breakfast the next day before leaving delicious.

A simple, clean place to spend a night when on the road.

If you're looking at Hotels in Caucasia, it is because you're contemplating driving between Cartagena and the inland cities like Medellín. Caucasia is a small city and given the nature of Highway 25 is a natural place to break-up the journey. From a US traveler's perspective, Hosteria Horizontes is like a contemporary Motel 6. It's clean, reasonably priced and secure. The rooms are good sized, the beds a bit on the soft side and both ceiling fans and in-room AC are available. It was 34c on my trip and the AC was definitely needed. The bathroom is clean with a good sized shower. Please note that the shower has a mini-tankless water heater that worked fine. Breakfast was just, OK. I ended up going to a local bakery for much better pastry and coffee. There's a Viva Shopping Mall with restaurant options and the restaurant across the street was like the hotel - an acceptable choice but certainly not great.
In short, it works for a 1-night stay while on the road. Depending on your stamina and final direction, I would look at Sincelejo or Monteria as alternatives while driving from the coast to the inland of Colombia.
Oh - and as in most of Colombia, don't expect to use your English. The staff is very friendly and will help.

Tuve la oportunidad de visitar en compañía de mi flia solo una noche el hotel. Estabamos de paso a Cartagena.
Quedamos gratamente impresionados con la calidad de las instalaciones del hotel, la calidez de sus empleados, el desayuno excelente. Es una gran opción de hospedaje en Caucasia.

FELICITACIONES Y AGRADECIMIENTO

Felicitaciones y agradecimiento a la Hosteria Horizontes de Caucasia, por la adecuación de una habitación para huéspedes con movilidad reducida, construída con los más altos estándares de comodidad y elegancia a la altura de un hotel cinco estrellas, llenando un vacío existente en muchos hoteles colombianos. No pude encontrar en la ciudad de Caucasia un hotel que cumpliera con este requisito tan necesario para los visitantes de la región o para hacer una estación de descanso, en un viaje hacia la Costa Atlántica.
Nosotros los que estamos con movilidad reducida le agradecemos eternamente a la HOSTERÍA HORIZONTES y a sus propietarios, esta iniciativa de inclusión, la cual nos permite hacer uso del baño, llegando en nuestras sillas de ruedas. Ojalá sea una iniciativa copiada por muchos hoteleros del país.
