Nice place, friendly staff

Excellent location right in front of the beach, close to a local bar and you can walk to the town (El Valle). Very friendly staff, attentive to answer questions and help organize the activities that can be done in the area. They do not have restaurant service (they only prepare breakfast for an extra fee), but you can go to lunch in town or at the restaurants on the beach.
Just a slightly uncomfortable detail, the hostel's cats remain perched on top of the tables every time you sit down to eat, almost putting their heads in the plate, in addition to prowling around the kitchen and nibbling on the things in the market. They remain in the counters.

Avoid!

I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Unbearably hot at night. No fan in the room and no breeze so the hot humid air stagnated in the room. Lots of allergens. Lots of sweaty bodies and clothes stinking up the dorm.
Also people smoking inside, even staff, right next to the kitchen and reception.
Also the kitchen equipment was incredibly old and very unhygienic. There was open meat and fish in the fridge as well.
Plus I wrote a review on booking.com about this and the owner called me and threatened me unless I took the review down. Is this the way to run a business?

Lovely place great atmosphere

Daniela and Emmanuel have a lovely place here with a great atmosphere... perfect position and less of a full on party feel than the Turtle on down the beach.. the beach trips they organise with Nativo to Tigre highly recommended as well.

Best hostel of my trip

Wonderful place & location, great staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Feels like an ecolodge but with the vibe of a hostel. Highly recommended.
If you’re unclear on how long to stay, I recommend at least 3-4 days. But most people decided to stay longer once they were there.

Simply paradise

We stayed one week in this lovely hostel and it was one of the nicest, most beautiful and greatest spots we have been so far. Daniela and Emmanuel, the owners are super kind and it almost feels like home there! They build a lovely place with a great atmosphere ❤️
