Closeness for shopping tourism
I liked the hotel. It maintains the large hotel structure with ample amenities. Gym, sauna, swimming pool, restaurants and so on. The proximity to the malls is very good, the reception amazing and breakfast varied. I really recommend it

This hotel hosts a lot of conventions so it’s not a very sexy or showy hotel but the staff is super professional and courteous. It’s also right next to the Oviedo mall and down the street from the Santa Fe mall so if you don’t want to be in the hotel just go there for a quick trip. I never had issues with service or any of the staff. Others noted the good breakfast, and I would agree with that as well. If you want a sexy hotel in a sexy posh neighborhood this ain’t it. Pretty solid choice though if you’re looking for something low key.

Hotel Really Needs Renovation and Hot Water!
Check in took forever as only one clerk was working. Only four people in front of me; however, took about 30 minutes from arrival to check in. The room was large; however, quite dated and worn out. The AC hardly worked. The water never became hot in the shower, most likely due to the aging infrastructure at the hotel. The breakfast buffet is quite ample and the servers very friendly. Also, the room rates did not match the reservations. Also, hotel does not honor Marriott elite benefits.
The hotel is in a great location and connected next to a large shopping mall. I do not recommend until the hotel is renovated and the hot water problem is resolved.

Very Poor Service by the Front Desk Employee.
Very Poor Service...I check in around 2:00 pm. Not sure what was the name of the employee, but he tried to out smart me. He indicated because I am a platinum member he will upgrade me from a double bed to king size bed, when I booked it on line these two rooms where the same price...He must a thought I was stupid.
Every time i called for service he never picked up the phone. Even though my profile said extra pillows and extra towels never got either request. At check out, he charged me $10 usd for two bottle of water from the mini bar. That was not a minibar that was a little fridge with water and NO PRICES. Everytime I tried to ask question at the front desk he was RUDE and ARROGANT. This was a same person I did not get his name but he was tall and skinny with a very dark complexion.
THE SERVICE FROM FRONT DESK EMPLOYEE IS HORRIBLE!!!
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
