Beautiful place

We rented a private room ("Guacamaya" was called) with private toilet. The room is nice, air conditioner a little bit noisy during nights, but it works very well. The common areas are just as they published: a paradise.
An advice: the hotel is inserted in a rainforest, so you must know that you will live these days with insects, mosquitos, spiders, etc.
I remark four things:
Alejandro is a host and waiter excepcional. I have been traveling for many places and I can dinstinguish clearly when the personnal from the hotel do their job with joy, and Alejandro was one of them. Extremely proactive, smart, and nice guy.
Swimming pool is cool. It is necesary in the place because the sea is not available for swimmers.
Food is selled for a just price, considering the place where the hotel is.
Finally, is a calm place, wich is very important in Colombia, because there are other touristic places when people just want to party and listening loud music. I don't know if the hotel is always quiet, maybe in high season is different, but I never listened speakers from anyone.

Not recommended

The value for money does not correspond, very scarce rooms. The care and the treatment very bad, especially the high-handed and high-minded attitude of the manager.

You have too many bugs in the rooms

I've traveled a lot, but I've never had what happened in this Hostel, when we returned to ha room after dinner the walls, floor and backpacks, were black with ants,
And it is true that we were found another room to the five people we shared, but it was very uncomfortable.

Highly recommended

Very nice staying. Clean and beautiful without tourist passing by like San Juan. Very friendly owner. Elektricity and wifi even on the beach with a swing. Hammock very near or clean tent on the beach with mattress and lining for good price. Perfect for chill. End of November there was me and 6 other’s people. I enjoyed night on the beach swing watching sky.
