Unforgettable paradise place!
We were a group of 27 people kindly welcomed on this enchanting site by Karin and Olivier, as well as by smiling and kind employees. An unforgettable dream experience.
The incredible meetings and workshops have made us a real family.
For a yoga retreat- relaxation- beaches- rest- visits- trapeze and aerial tissues were tried to the delight of the group. (Karin also has a Circus school in Montreal.)
The band was treated to a show showing us the range of their talent.
We simply spent hours in the pool which is extraordinary, surrounded by lush vegetation with 3 pools where you can sit and relax away if you wish.
Friendly staff and excellent food are lovingly prepared by Chef Lucas with the valuable help of Jacqueline and Alba.
Urania, resp. Rooms, washing and maintenance. Ivan lovingly takes care of the land, plantations, etc.

Incredible Spot
Latica Lodge is a special place. I visited on the off season and went solo and the couple who owns it weren’t there but very communicative and got me in touch with their head Chef Luca along with a driver named Fabricio who picked me up from the airport and took me to Latica. Fabricio was incredibly nice, I mentioned how I love the coconut water in Costa Rica and he stopped on the way and bought two coconuts that we shared. I then mentioned how I love the Lizano sauce that they have in Costa Rica and he stopped at the store and bought me a Lizano sauce for my trip with his own money as a gift. He knew everyone in town and had nick names for everyone and it made for such an enjoyable experience.
Chef Luca is a sweet and incredible soul. He was super kind and attentive and made sure I had everything I needed during my trip. Anytime I needed to eat he was right there to get me fed. He has dog named El Capitan who is a really cool and special animal that follows him everywhere. Luca made my stay very comfortable.
Lastly the Gardner Evon is incredibly kind and made sure I had enough coconut waters throughout my trip. He constantly went up the tree and cracked coconuts and put them in the fridge as fast as I could drink them. I got a chance to meet his family and swim with his kids who are incredibly sweet and fun.
I can’t wait to visit Latica with my wife and kids in the future.

Perfect oasis of peace
Latica lodge might be one of my new favourite places on earth.
It is an oasis of peace nested in the middle of Guanacaste. I came for a flying trapeze retreat fully concentrated on the training, but as soon as we arrived I was blown away by the beauty of the lodge. The design of every area is very intentional and blends well with the nature surrounding the lodge. The common areas are very comfortable and perfect for both socialising with the other guests or enjoying some self-reflection time. The rooms are also very comfortable and spacious (both the private room and shared rooms). The showstopper is definitely the pool, designed to look like a river and the best place to spend time in the warmest ours of the day. The flying trapeze rig was wonderfully smooth. However, the best part of Latica are the people who run it. Karin is the most gracious and wonderful host. She made us feel right at home with her warm smile and amazing energy (she also makes perfect margaritas!). Oliver's kindness was the best thing to accompany the morning coffee, while Chef Luca's delicious food kept us well fed throughout the week. The rest of the staff was also wonderful and made the whole Latica experience perfectly smooth. I cannot recommend Latica enough and cannot wait to be back !!

Latica lodge was amazing to stay at! If you’re looking for that community vibe then this should be on the top of your list. Everyone from all over the world staying there, all having breakfast/supper together was spectular. The owners are everyday people willing to help you out with everything they made the stay so enjoyable. It’s definitely off the beaten path, I would recommend having a 4x4 vehicle to tackle the roads getting there and getting around. There’s a couple amazing beaches (best we thought on the whole west coast) super close and they are all so different. Would highly recommend staying here! Pura vida!

Comfortable beds, beautiful location, 20 minute walk to the beach and great food.
The staff are wonderful. Nature every where beautiful flowers, fruit trees. I'm going to bring my grandson's here, they will love it! Just the surfing alone. The ocean is warm, beaches is not over crowed. Heaven on Earth
