A touch of Past
In a bougie little enclave like Nosara, Rosada stands in contrast as it reminded me of an earlier version of Costa Rica that catered to actual travelers. The casitas were private, quiet and there were fellow travelers for talking story as well as a couple real cool dogs! As for the nuts and bolts, it is off the main drag, safe and quiet, while close enough to walk to the beach and also grab supplies at the mini mercado. Highly recommend.

Perfect Hideaway in the middle of Nosara
This was our fifth stay at Casa Rosada all for 7-10 days. Given the popularity of Nosara, this is a great value given its proximity to the beach and the beauty of the compound as well as the traditional look of the cabins. The property is well maintained, the cabins are attractive, inside and out,and the kitchens nicely functional for those who would like to coo. The staff keeps to the highest levels of cleanliness. The property attracts long term guest, some who stay for months, something we would enjoy doing. Casa Rosada is less than 10 minutes from the north entrance to the beach and there must be 20 restaurants within a ten minute walk, yet, on its cul-de-sac it is completely quiet. TIS: Whatever you may have read about Nosara getting noisy and crowded, the beach is always near empty if you walk a couple hundred yards from the entrances. And sunrise is almost as good as sunset!

Location & still maintains tranquility.
Henri, the owner, was awesome to deal with and the property was superb. He makes everyone feel like they've been friends for years and goes out of his way to make your vacation special. We stayed in one of the 5 casitas. He updates the place every year. Our unit had A/C, a new barn door on the bathroom and a hammock on the porch. The woodwork is great. It was perfect for our needs and the hammock, outdoor covered patio and pool were great. Listening to Howler monkey's & seeing monkey's in the trees on the property were an added bonus. The hummingbirds, iguana's and butterflies being around just add to the Pura Vida.
It's tranquil throughout Nosara and the location was excellent. Located on a cul de sac, it's a 2 min walk to the main street that runs across the town so access to shops and restaurants is all within walking distance. It's maybe a 10 minute walk to the beach by road and there are paths close by to get you to Playa Pelada or to the south side of the town.

Location, location, location
Fantastic place to stay, loved every minute. Close to shops, restaurants and 300 meters from the beach. The Cabinas are set in the jungle with lots of wildlife - Howler Monkeys, Iguanas, Birds and lots more. Host is full of great local information and very friendly and helpful. Excellent WIFI especially if you are a Digital Nomad. Would definitely stay here again if we come back and highly recommend.

Excellent quiet cabinas near beach
We are finishing up a 12 day stay at a lovely hidden gem in the heart of “downtown” Playa Guiones Norte. Approximately 150 meters from good restaurants and the mini super and less than 1/2 mile from the beach, it is a guiet jungle oasis. Right now it has a resident iquana living in a hole in a tree who sticks its head out in greeting. The casitas are in perfect condition with nicely equipped kitchens with gas burners and full size refrigerators. Owner, Henry, is laid back but very efficient. Hammocks, pool, and common cabana with grill are all very nice. We are planning to return next year.
