Loved this little hotel on the beach
We stayed here for one week and absolutely loved our stay. We seen more monkeys here than we did in the park.
The staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our morning coffee, breakfast , service and conversations with Ronnie and the cook the little restaurant in the hotel.
I loved Betty who kept our room clean. She was so sweet and friendly.
Randall was so helpful every night at the front desk he would help us with directions to go to restaurants and places we wanted to see. I’m so sorry I didn’t get the names of the others, but everyone was so helpful and friendly here. I just really enjoyed every single day here.
My favourite was the little cat that I would sit and play with there at the hotel.
Her name is Sammy and I miss her so much.
I actually have more pictures of Sammy than I do of the monkeys.
I really loved the hotel being directly on the beach and being so close to town, some nights we would get on the bus for only a dollar and it would take us to town for dinner.
I can’t wait to go back. I actually would stay longer next time. Pura Vida.❤️

Whatever you do, don't get the loft
The good things first: The hotel is directly on the beach and has a nice garden and pool area.
However, parts of it, particularly the loft, could do with getting renovated. Breakfast is not included with the room and quite expensive, although really good
I had booked the loft since it had sounded good, like a little appartement. What it was, was a damp attic above the reception with no view and in dire need of renovation. We could change to a room with sea view after the first night but were offered no rebate (cheaper room) and I couldn't be bothered arguing. The seaview rooms are nice and quiet.
There were coffee makers but no coffee.

The rooms were clean the rooms are large. The water pressure in the shower was very low. There is hot water. The hotel is located next to the beach and they have a nice pool. There is not a restaurant per se, but they do offer paid breakfast. The staff is awesome, they took care of some other issues in our room and the reception person Daniela I believe was very helpful.

The hotel is in an excellent location. Direct beach access. The room was clean and had room service daily

Hotel unable and unwilling to help with loud barking dog!
We loved staying at this property; the rooms are clean and well-decorated. The staff was kind, especially the night staff. The only complaint we have is that this hotel allows dogs. We were placed next to a room with a small dog that cried throughout the day and barked late into the night. It became difficult to sleep. We had to call the front desk each night. The hotel front desk said they did not know the guests with the dog would be bringing a dog until they arrived; they don’t have a policy in place to know ahead of time what dogs will be on the property. So there is no way to plan around where you get placed. I would not return just for this reason. Additionally, one of the locals we spoke with informed us that the beach in front of the hotel is one of the most dangerous, and there is a lifeguard there specifically for this reason who has had to save multiple drowning incidents.
