Nice weekend stay in Ventspils

Nice, clean hotel in city center. Supermarkets are near.Big triple room, wifi worked perfect. Cafe in hotel is not very expensive, meal is good and large portions.Recommend this hotel for all who want to visit Ventspils.

Good for stay with family, perfect location

We had family room . Equiped with TV, shower, towels. Breakfast for additional cost in the caffe at 1st floor. 3*** hotel, commonly used for athletes (because it is near Olimpic Center). In winter season its verry calm there, but in summers can be more busy.
Good location , near touristic places, museums, restaurants.

Hotel almost in the center of Ventspils. Close to the Olympic sports centre. Clean inside, big free parking, free WiFi. Can offer breakfast for additional fee. There are some shopping centers close to the hotel.

Just normal

We stay here in january, when outside temperture was -15, and we had a room 317, that was very cold, and the next day i stayed sick.
Friendly staff, room are clean, good wi-fi, very thin blankets, cold bathroom and there was no hairdryer.

Good location, but that's it

I stayed in the hotel with a friend for two nights in January. The room was very cold and we had to ask for extra blankets, which helped. However, I had to stay in the room to work on my laptop for an hour or so the next day and it was so cold I had to put my winter boots on. The beds are very basic, but not uncomfortable. Oddly, only one bedside cabinet in a twin room. There is a TV in the room (but we did not watch it) and free Wi-Fi. The hotel provided towels and there is liquid soap in the bathroom, but nothing else. The room doors are not soundproof at all and we could clearly hear the cleaning stuff shouting in the corridors at 7AM in the morning. The hotel was almost empty, otherwise I believe normal sleep would have been impossible with people coming and going, as you can hear every sound from the corridors. The bathroom is very basic, but OK, except for the broken towel hanger, and our towels did not dry properly overnight because of the cold. Overall cleanliness is OK. The reception staff are very nice and friendly. The cafe was open only for breakfast, which we did not take, and the only way to get a hot drink there was a vending machine downstairs, which did not have any black tea at all (and tiny cups).
