Exceeded expectations
We stayed in one of the renovated rooms, it was nice and cozy. The staff were polite and friendly, SPA treatments were pleasant. Food was good, breakfast offered quite a big selection.
Cons: pool is not very big and there was no tea/coffee in the room.
Overall we didn’t have very big expectations, so we were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of our stay.

Worst place I've ever been.
The room's awful, the carpet stinks. Hair everywhere: on the sheets, the floor, in the shower and on the wall in the shower. I went there four times and pointed my fingers. I ordered a steak, but I didn't see any pleasure in it, I don't see how you could look at it... The pool area is a nightmare, there's no mood, waiters and receptionists with disgruntled faces. First and last time here. I came here on business, I wouldn't have chosen this place. Avoid this place, it's a tragedy.

Generally good stay – but very unpleasant ending
We had a very good impression of the hotel and the spa.
Unfortunately our experience was ruined at the check-out. We had paid for the entire stay on arrival and got the impression that everything was included. It was only on departure that we were told that over 100 euros extra were to be paid, which was never informed before. The hotel manager admitted that there was a communication error on the part of the hotel – but insisted that we should pay the extra amount otherwise they would call the police.
It was a very unpleasant and arrogant experience, especially from the receptionist Dovilė, who handled the situation in a rude and confrontational way.
Unfortunately, this place has a lot of potential – but the way this was handled means we can't recommend Royal Spa Residence, and we're not going to return.

This hotel is definitely not a 4 stars hotel do not go there unless you want to be disappointed
Good points:
The food was generally good, though we could clearly notice a difference in quality and presentation between the à la carte options and the meals included with our stay as we had Breakfast and Dinner included and we would pay for our Lunch at the restaurant. I personally enjoyed my massages, but my partner only found his first one satisfying; unfortunately, his full-body massage was poorly done. I also tried the sauna, and my experience there was just okay.
The area is very beautiful, we didn't get the best view from our room but we could enjoy the outdoor doing little walk and enjoy a beautiful river view. It's unfortunate that their outdoor seats were not clean.
Bad points:
Our room was an absolute disaster. We paid for what was supposedly the best room, specifically requesting a queen bed, but ended up with two single beds pushed together.
The bathroom was in terrible condition, with mold in several areas, a stained toilet seat, and a dead insect found in our room. The walls were either damaged or dirty, there was dust around the bed, and the carpet was heavily worn out. Towels and robes were threadbare, with the largest robe size available being only XXL.
Basic amenities were lacking; we received only a couple of small shower gel packets and two bar of hard soap—no toothbrush, toothpaste, bottle of water, or anything else one would expect at this level of accommodation. We even had to purchase our own disposable slippers for an additional 1 euro.
For international visitors, I would not recommend this hotel. English proficiency among staff was very limited, with only two employees making an effort to speak with me. Furthermore, my partner received the majority of the attention because he is Lithuanian and they had no efforts to make, and as a Black guest, I often felt uncomfortable due to stares from other customers. This is not the staff's fault but I find it important to mention for future visitors.
We left earlier than expected because of all of those reasons and at the check out no questions were asked of why we would leave earlier. We simply got "Oh alright" she checked on her computer that we paid everything and said "Bye"

Not recomended!
We spend there 2nights.
First view as we arived was awfull.. Walls from outside is broken, but plus is, that renovation is on. So the next year i hope the view from outside would be better.
Registration room is quite nice, people who work there also nice.
And here comes the room. The view from 5th floor was amazin, rooms is clean. But thats all. Walls are broken, floor broken, and balcony also with broken floor and green grass in it.
Bathrobe i think been seen much more than 100 people, so poor and unwashable.
Spa centre is small. There is no space for children, so mothers have to keep them in one of two wery small jakuzi. Pool is with warm watter, but also small. Floor is wet, and when there is a lot people the floor is like pool also. Womens hair is everywhere. In pool, in jakuzi and a lot of on the floor. And mould.. there is lot mould above pool.
Breakfast is 6/10. You will find what to eat.
I do not recomended to go there. Unless you have a gift, or pay less. But now, the price is unbielievable for what they gave.
