Good guest house for reasonable price

Good for a few nights. It's clean, comfortable, there are all basics you need in the room if your requirements are not very high and you are not planing to spend the whole time in the room. Good location to reach any point by foot, old town, ferry to Smiltynė, Juodkrantė, Nida, or train and bus stations.

Keep up the maintenance

Travelled as part of group tour.
Centrally located with plenty of room space and reasonable facilities though some of these needed attention, servicing, replacement to provide a reasonable level of comfort and client privacy.
Though located at an intersection we at the back of the property slept without interruption.

Excellent guest house

Litinterp guest house is in a good location. It is near the old town and also near the ferry to Nida. The room we had was in the eaves with a large bathroom and bedroom. Breakfast is delivered to your door in a basket each day and is more than ample.

I have no idea where all the high ratings are coming from

I have no idea where all the high ratings are coming from. The hotel is pretty run down, and it smells mildewy inside the room.
We requested an additional bed, which was placed in our room, but the mattress stunk of pee... so we had it removed from the room, which helped a little bit with the overall smell :).
The decor is outdated and the carpet is like 100 years old. As I recall, only our trash and our towels were taken care of on a daily basis. The room itself and the bathroom were never cleaned, neither were the beds made.
I will definitely avoid this particular hotel in the future.

Cute accomodation

Stayed here for two nights during very hot weather.
Room was on the third floor with a very low roof. Shared bathroom had a very small amount of useable space due to the sloping roof. Due to the low roof height the room was excessively warm unless the wind was blowing in the right direction to cool the room down.
Room and bathroom were very clean, and it was cute. The breakfast is delivered in a basket to your room each morning - cheese, meat, yoghurt, juice, bread, biscuits and an apple.
Location is ok - short walk to the old town and to the ferry for the trip to Curonion Spit.
