Quaint hotel. Ideal for Hungaroring.

We’ve just returned from a short stay at this hotel whilst attending the Hungary Grand Prix.
Perfectly positioned for this purpose. Approximately £25 taxi either into the city or to the airport.
The hotel is situated 200metres from the train station. There’s a large supermarket 1 stop along, and then it’s 3 more stops to the courtesy buses that take you to the Hungaroring track, or on into the city.
The hotel owner is very welcoming and hospitable. He’s generous and kind. The food on the menu is tasty and varied. Breakfast is a typical continental affair: cold meats, cheeses, omelettes.
The room we had was basic but had good AC and a hairdryer in the bathroom. There’s a little kitchenette for customers to use which has tea & coffee.
In general, I would recommend.

Unprofessional and rude

I reserved a room at this place and got NO ANSWER from the property via telephone number and message through Booking app about the prepaymet beacuse they accept only cash deposit. How can you be on Booking if you only accept cash, ask for deposit and don't accept credit card?! Should I come from Serbia to give you the deposit?!
I had to contact the Customer service from Booking, they called the property and they said to the CUSTOMER SERVICE that they cannot host us, with no explanation why, while the property just ignored my messages and gave me no single answer, even though I had my booking confirmed, only awaiting for deposit, with no single explanation how to give them the deposit. Totally unprofessional!

Ebéd

Kellemetlen kiszolgálás, egyszerű menza. Gyönyörű napsütéses időben nem mehetünk a teraszra, mondván bent fűtenek - persze bent hideg a radiátor. Nagyon kellemetlen élmény volt. Egyszer jöttünk be, családi ebédre, ehelyett a leves után eljöttünk.

Hotel, ahol ha hajnal 3-kor mész haza kidobnak!!!!

A egyiptomi tulajdonosnak elvei vannak a vendégek viselkedéséről, szokásairól. Ha Ő úgy ítéli meg akkor éjfélkor áramtalanít vagy ha hajnal 3-kor mész vissza a szálláshelyre kidob!!!! Tűrhetetlen és visszataszító ez a magatartás. Nem hiába Ő maga szolgál fel, főz és takarít,mert személyzete már rég óta NINCS!!!!

Hôte très accueillant. Chambres calmes et confortables. Restauration sur place. Petit déjeuner simple et généreux. Ideal pour les groupes! On recommande vivement. Un petit établissement accueillant, confortable et tranquille. Ambiance guesthouse. Wifi gratuit de bonne qualité.
