Located very central

Located very central, polite staff. Very spacious apartment.
Cleaning was poor, very dirty on the floors. Dishwasher was filled with dirty service. The apartment had no toaster or bread knife. We were 2 people and had booked apartment with 2 rooms, when we arrive there is only red up in the one room. However, they come quickly and prepare in the other room. However, the bed here was very hard and we only discover the next day that there is no top mattress on. However, we find top mattresses on some extra beds (on a loft) and repair the bed. TV we could not get to work ( lacked a power supply for the TV box ) and wi fi also not existing when trying to go online. Complained at the reception, but they just looked at the wonders and said that they couldn't understand.

I stayed at Maverick Apartments Budapest recently and had a decent overall experience.
The room itself was okay — not amazing, but not bad either. The building is clearly quite old and historic, which gives it character, but it also explains why the rooms probably aren’t heavily renovated. Because of that, some things felt a bit worn. The washroom had a strong smell, and the toilet flush button was broken during my stay. I assume these issues come with maintaining an older property, though they were still noticeable.
On the positive side, the location is excellent — you’re basically close to everything, which makes exploring the city very convenient. The staff were also friendly and welcoming, which definitely improved the stay.
Overall, it’s a reasonable place if you mainly want a great location and don’t mind a few imperfections in the room.

I stayed at Maverick Apartments for three days, and honestly, I wish I could’ve stayed longer. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the location was just perfect. Close enough to everything I needed, but still peaceful enough to truly relax. Every little detail, from the cozy bedding to the spotless kitchen, showed how much care goes into this place. It’s rare to find somewhere that feels both luxurious and homely, but Maverick Apartments nailed it. I’ll definitely be coming back!
